So you are denying my accusation of pot-stirring and instead opting for the excuse of being so mind-numbingly dense that you just felt this was the right place to post it? I'm glad that you don't give a shit about my opinion because I am so bemused as to how one human being can be such an ass that if you cared the sheer gravity of my disapproval would probably propel you further into mental instability.
EDIT: Your reviewed post doesn't make you seem any less of an ass. You didn't talk about why you eat meat (and thank fuck for that because we've heard you babble on about it so many times), you just declared that you do.

I am vegan and try to eat raw for health reasons. I like mediteranean foods
and indian food and thai. i find it very easy to be vegan except when one particular friend serves gourmet cheese with cranberries!

When you think about what cheese is, it's really not that big of a loss.

No, the only thing that can't be found in animal products is B12, and even then its been found in mushrooms in small amounts, supposedly vegetarians of old got it from bacteria found on plants, but nowadays we clean them so well it washes it all away. Anyway, its easily available in vitamin form or you can eat nutritional yeast if you're skeevy about modern medicine.

I don't accept ape_descendent as a solid case for higher brain function.

Yes, because any person that's an omnivore is indeed nothing BUT a carnivore. I mean, I fucking LOVE a side of bacon with my steak and chicken.

Shut the fuck up Kontan, you know damn well I didn't say anything even remotely like that. And as a side note, who doesn't love a side of bacon with everything?

I always hated bacon. I think its the smell and mom showing me whats left in the pan after you fry it.

My friend's making fajitas and garlic fries right now and it sounds so fucking good. Except he ruined it with fake meat products.

Tofu isn't a fake meat product though, its just curdled soybean.
I used to hate tofu because I tried to make it taste like meat, but now I appreciate it on its own. It doesn't have to pretend its something its not. The worst tofu I ever had was when my friend decided to make it for me and didn't want to use a recipe I gave her, she marinated it in fake beef broth, and then baked it insufficiently. It was so slimy, I tried to eat it to please her but I ended up gagging on it.
I never eat fake meat products anymore, its easier to make black bean burgers from scratch, and healthier anyway. I find if I do eat a veggie burger or veggie dog my stomach does not like it.

Really? It's interesting you should mention that. When I was home last break (about two and a half weeks ago) I ate a veggie burger for the first time in a while (maybe six months or so) and got kind of stomach-sick. I don't know if it was the burger or something "going around" but now I'm afraid to eat the other veggie patties in case it happens again :-/ They're still in the freezer awaiting a second chance but I'm reluctant to afford them that.
I used to eat that stuff a lot when I first switched to a vegetarian diet but now maybe it doesn't agree with me... Unless I just bought a pack of dodgy burgers!
