Hahahaha, I really doubt you'll find "ppl" like you here.
Please tell me Avril doesn't mean Avril Lavigne!
Let's see what else: Hating light? Ohmygoth! How clichéd.

*Looking for a real gothic band in the ones you mentioned*

SURVEY SAYS: Negative!

Let's look at your picture:

Ah, yes; a mall goth.

P.S.
I hope you do not think Emo and Goth are alike in any way.

And Idamn!
What kind of make-up is that?
Well, I know what kind of make-up it is: God-awful!
It looks like she applied make-up to a large cottonball and pressed it aginst her face.

Goths are supposed to be aesthetic creatures.
Oh, right, she's not one.

Look kid; this is how you're supposed to look with make up:

I'm supposed to be a bitch.
I bitch, others flame, and only the worthy come out, dystilled by the fire to become proper worshippers of Rozz Williams.

I bet she'd look adorable without the make-up & faux angst.

B_E_D, deary, people would understand you if you didn't take yourself so seriously. Lighten up a bit, explore the site & take note of what's being said.

B_E_D, is the Concord you speak of Concord California?

If it is, I know there is a large Emo population there. Most of the cemeteries there have fences plastered with "No tresspassing" signs, ruining it for the rest of us, because of Emos there messing up or stealing tombstones.

Try to be an ambassador of your sub-culture, try to demonstrate to others of your ilk that to preserve cemeteries allows others to enjoy them too. Those of your persuasion will earn respect that way as well. Maybe.

Hah, an ambassador of the mallgoth subculture?
I'd have to see that.

The ideal is still great, but it's not a good idea for this one.
I mean, come one:
"I hate the light. Its way to bright for me."
Well then, I hate water. It's too wet for me.

Yeah, that part was corny, but I tend to be very patient with young ones when they start exploring. Although others tell you to be nice, they need to learn the boundaries, so it is a good thing you tell them, or no one might.

Hmph, kind of hypocritical, telling others the boundaries of Gothdom, but there they are: we can't have rappers or country bumpkins filling up Gnet threads now can we?

I agree with Godslayer. I strongly doubt you'll find any "ppl" like you on Gnet. But who knows...maybe we can warp you into one of us^^.
all you need is some spit and polish and maybe a new wardrob.

Just for the record, Goths:

1. Don't always wear black
2. Don't always worship satan
3. Are NOT evil
4. Do not want to kill people
5. Do not hate everybody
6. Are not always depressed
7. Can be happy
8. Are usually nice people
9. Don't cut themselves to BE Goth
10. Are mostly very creative people
11. Do not hate the light

And... I think you get the point.

Y'know, Ray Bradbury said that when he was young he was ignorant and arrogant and his mind was an uncarved block of steel that he would thrust into people's faces. People would cut him down and he would learn from it and grow until that ugly and formless steel of a mind was a fine surgeon's scalpel that could be used to dissect the world.

My point is: Okay, she's a kid. She's young and angry and dresses in black and writes goofball things in bad grammar. Trashing on her and calling her "mallgoth" is mean-spirited and bullying, and pretending it's okay by saying cattiness is your persona is low. If you're gonna do that, trade in your black clothes and Rozz CDs at the door, go to A&F and buy some Uggz, and get back to high school.

Besides, when you're young and you don't have access to big cities and clubs and all the stuff you can use to become a "proper" goth (whatever the fuck that means) you've kinda got to piece it together for yourself with what you have on hand i.e. the internet, Hot Topic, some magazines, and a bad attitude.

The flip side of the coin is also true. Look, kid. We was all where you're at. A lot of the time being there hurt. We grow and we look back and we recognize us in you and sometimes it's embarassing. Don't get scared away. This is where you learn.

Writing this on a rolling surveillance.

You're right Joe. I'm not sure if you took my before post offensively or not but I had no intentions on putting you down B_E_D. I used to be just like you. But I learned alot from this site and the people in it. Some things I learned the hard way. This site is a lot better now though then it used to be. People used to shun you just for misspelling a word your first time being here. If people act like you don't derserve respect because you have a different perspective on things, then you just have to stand your ground. You may fall, but that's an experience you can learn from. You just have to pick up the pieces and start again. and as Joe said, don't get scared away. Let us teach you. I have found a lot of good roll models here and you will too.

Welcome to the site!
Have fun and enjoy you time with us.
