Haha in aus everyone is to busy humping bibles to do anything for Halloween. I did go to a party a few years ago. Heres a cheap idea go to a local thrift shop and choose a cheap wedding dress,vial and dress up as a dead bride.

Me and my friends are going to light a large fire in my yard and celebrate Samhain by chanting omens to Morrigan, The celtic Goddess of Death.

(bet nobody has thought of that one)

I'll probably end up dressing up like Ian Astbury with the face-paint as well and putzing around my house and neighborhood dancing for the kiddies or handing out candy and the likes. I love fall so I'll probably just enjoy the night. Whatever I can think of I guess.

I prefer to speak to the spirits of past relatives. Samhain is so much better than Halloween.

Halloween is my favorite commercial holiday (whereas Samhain is my favorite religious holiday), has been since I was a kid.

I'm not sure what I'll be this year. I thought about being Pee-Wee Herman. I always wanted to be Magenta but I can't find a French maid uniform that'll fit my fat ass.

We're having a camping gathering, but it will be in early October, so not on actual Samhain.

Ooo, guys I found the coolest decor for my Halloween party at the thrift store yesterday & I only spent $5 ! I am going to another thrift store later this week to see what else I can dig up.

My mom says I'm too old for trick-or-treating...which I am...but thats what 4 year old brothers are for right! I'm going to decorate the hell out of my house and have a party. I'm kinda tempted to be an anime character this year, but I'd have to work really hard to make it in time seeing as my mom threw the sewing machine away and shes not getting another one anytime soon.

Where I work they sell this jacket that has an obnoxiously shiny gold collar and a $100 bill design all over the rest of it, Benjamin Franklins looking over everything. It's called, descriptively enough, the 'Moneyman Jacket.' I'm going to put that on with one of those fake pig noses and be a capitalist pig for Halloween.

LOL that's so cute... I personally haven't gone Trick-Or-Treating since I was 14, and that was ten years ago.

It's just weird to hear someone say "my mom says I'm too old"... wow. lol

Now if I weren't so tall (5'8") I probably could've pulled off Trick-Or-Treating for a few more years. Heck, I bet there are people out there who are of small enough stature to go Trick-Or-Treating well into adulthood without being noticed. How fun would that be?

Parties rock though... they are so much better.

That's pretty creative! You should go into a few giant retail/department stores with that costume on. Haha you need to post pictures.

I really want to be Dani Filth from the Babylon A.D. video...only because it involves a pinstripe suit, lipstick, mascara and claw rings. But no one would ever recognize it. So I am instead going to go as the first female don of a mafia family. Same costume but add a pinstripe fedora.

Even though Ive been looking forward to Halloween since July, I still haven't gave much thought to what I am going to do or what I am going to wear. I belive I've been a vampire atleast 6 times. lol I was thinking about being Morticia and my bf being gomez. But since that is done so much, I may change it to Lilly and
Herman Munster.

I'm planning on going to school dressed as Betelgeuse. Black n' white striped suit, green hair, you know. If I go trick or treating, it'll be to accompany my little brother, who I believe is planning to be a skeleton. Funny, I was a skeleton when I was seven as well...

The majority of the night however will likely be spent with friends, wandering around town or just eating spooky shnacks while playing video games.

I vote for the spooky snacks and video games!!! But you gotta add in some horror movies as well.

The Morrigan was less a proto Celtic Death Goddess than one of the triple aspect more aligned with war than with death. try Cerrwidden, instead.
