Gothicus, in my book, you've been just as chauvinistic and dumb as the rest of these jokers have been. Your wrong doesn't strike me as much less than theirs.

Don't include everyone on this thread, especially those of us hadn't participated in the "dumbassity" of that boobs thread, which is what I'm guessing you're talking about; at least that's what I got from what I've read in your post.

I just don't find it fair you're encompassing everyone in your statements. If you're not then don't use theirs or rest of these jokers, which, at least in the context it was used, implies you mean everyone who's responded to this thread. Maybe something like your wrong doesn't strike me less than some of theirs, or some of these jokers.

I'm just tired of being generalized with everyone else.

But while we're at it, I do find it rather lame that this one incident has people flocking to flame Gothicus when there has been others who've been more or less disrespectful to the females here. No, I find this incident to be no less heinous (and I mean that in the most light hearted of ways) than the rest of the talk about people showing off their tits. This is not isolated or a special case in my opinion. That is all.

Wow. We could all let it drop for th emeantime and wait for Sek to respond, if she even chooses to do so. She's got a lot going on right now, and even the reaction (although in her favor) may be just one more thing, ya know?

In the meantime, I am certain she is capable of handling her own, and certain that she is capable of asking for any assistance should she need it. She's a smart cookie, she knows the possible risks of posting stuff.

What does this thread really mean, in the macrocosm? Absolutely nothing. How many posts does Gnet have all together? 400,000, if we're generous? The board on which Sekhmet's boobs were posted gets that many posts EVERY TWO DAYS, not to mention the fact that her tits are now archived . All I am is one more pale guy laughing, although I'd place myself a bit above most of my fellows in that I did alert the girl of what had happened, as I'm of the opinion that knowledge, even of this, is superior to total ignorance, especially given that from this situation there's a clear lesson to be gleaned.

Now, did I find the appearance of Sekhmet's tits on 4chan to be funny? GUILTY AS CHARGED. Shit was hilarious- here I'd been for the last couple of days lamenting the stupidity into which these boards, to which I had at one point enjoyed contributing, have declined, a status quo exemplified by such threads as 'SHOW US YOUR BOOBS', and then BAM, the breasts of a girl for whom I have no strong feelings but recognize as a gnet member show up on the cyberspace's bastion of imbecility and indecency- the very asshole of the net. Call me insensitive if doing so pleases you, I don't care. Hell, ask for me to be banned if you want, no great loss at this point. It was funny.
Anyway, Sekhmet, I'm sorry if my decision to make this news known in a manner that reflected the profound hilarity which I perceived to characterize the situation offends you. However, if you, or the people of gnet, want a witchhunt, I suggest you make an effort to deduce who originally posted your picture with the conscious intention of objectifying you, debasing you, and tossing you to the slavering hordes of 4chan, rather than denouncing me, a guy who really did nothing but watch, as the supreme evil.

I'll admit now that I've participated to some degree in the 'Show Us Your Boobs' thread, but I've yet to specifically publicize my exploits. I am chauvinistic, yes, to a degree, and I admit that. Some of you may be upset at my behavior, and you are then I'm sorry, so I'm calling myself out on this.

I'll just add that this situation about those pics floating about the internet is sad and unfortunate, but I share the opinion that probably the best thing to do right now is nothing, since we really can't do anything about those pics at all. Sek should fix her shit up and delete her Photobucket contents before it's too late - if it isn't too late already - and charge this shit to experience.
