Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Just got back from my favorite record shop where I found:
Lou Reed--The Raven
Echo & The Bunnymen--Evergreen
Unto Ashes--Grave Blessings
and 3 Gary Numan CDs from his Cleopatra era:
Live Dark Light
White Noise
Dominion Day
Also dropped a check in the mail for Drac's Address Unknown CD.

William Control - Hate Culture
The Cure - 4:13 Dream I am getting for my birthday in about a week so I haven't heard all of it yet. Does anyone know if they have plans to tour?

Most of their songs sound the same & it can get tiresome when not in the mood. They're a group that are great in small doses but if you where forced to listen to them daily they would drive you insane lol It's the kind of stuff I like listening to in the car whilst driving, along with bands like Korpiklaani (who are awesome!!!! ).

Missed this. Bah yeh I forgot to even bring my camera, at least you got that clip anyway. I managed to delete the only video I took of Cinema Strange, thinking it was just a photo that didn't come out, and it was of the whole of Greensward Grey
Ah thanks. EYMU's album is good, especially Cats (Definitely Insane), and the title track. I think I prefer First Dinner though.

"Abort" by Tribe. An album I've been looking for for years now. Originally had it on audio cassette.

Voltera's 'Exorsister'. Technically it's an EP. They're a local Australian band but they've been on Warped Tour 2006. They have a lot of potential...awesomeness.
my last actual album i bought was BFMV's The Poison. Because I've been listening to stolen crap for a year and felt guilty enough to pay them money LOL.

Just came back from London, this is what I brought home:
Nineteen Ninety Five and Nowhere - Marx
Live at the Gibus Club - The Slits
4:13 Dream - The Cure
Two Headed Monster - Collide
Eat Me, Drink Me - Marilyn Manson
London Calling / Combat Rock - The Clash
Love all albums but the the Slits album. I had never heard them before. Don't want to hear them again either :P
and I've ordered the Goth'n'Roll box by 69 Eyes, so I'll have it in ~1 week

ooooh 69 eyes! what's in the goth'n'roll box? The next cd I'll get will be a 69 Eyes one, possibly Blessed Be, but would you have any to recommend out of all their albums?

It will contain Blessed Be, Paris Kills, a CD with unreleased songs, a DVD and some extra-stuff. So I would recommend this box. In my opinion Blessed Be, Wasting the Dawn, Paris Kills and Savage Garden are their best albums. Savage Garden they were still sleaze, or whatever it's called, Wasting the Dawn was some kind of mix between sleaze and goth. Muchos hardos musicos. Blessed Be and Paris kills would probaly be their most goth albums. Go listen on youtube and see what songs you like the most from the albums :P

I think it'll be one of those two. I've been loving a couple of songs off Blessed Be so I thought it'll be worth buying their album. Thanks!

I'm assuming you mean The Gothic Box? That's the expensive one. I didn't want to spend that much, so when I saw this used at my local music store for $8 I grabbed it. It wasn't worth it.
Last album I got was Radiohead's Kid A. I'm going to buy NIN's With Teeth and The Cyre's Pornography. Guess which one's the goth album!
