I thought I liked you when I heard the song "I don't like People". I dug that song. But that "Cats and Dogs" REALLY pissed me off and now I think I don't like you.

the cats and dogs song it's just for fun, and we change songs all the time. one of the member in the band record his dog in a song" don't take it to seriously!

The animals sound like they are in distress, and I don't find listening to it fun

What about the cats, smartass? There was some pretty miserable-sounding noises on that recording and they had to come from somewhere.
