| Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Good 80's music
Who here like most of the 80's music?
I tend to like most of the music from that time period. Why?
Because most of it has ATITUDE.

I adore 80s music. I can't tell you why, I just know I do. Perhaps it reminds me of happier times as a child.

This topic is slightly redundant.
Oh well. Yes, I find The Cure to be most exhilarating.

Siouxsie and the Banshees are one of my favorites. I also quite enjoy Eurythmics.

90% of my favorite punk bands came from the 80's. In my opinion it was the golden age of HC.

Death Angel, Dark Angel, Exodus, Heathen, Holy Terror, Death, Black Flag, Exciter, Anthrax, Sodom, Kreator, so on and so forth.
The 80's were the golden age of thrash.

I'd say the 80s are my favourite decade, no doubt. The Smiths, Legião Urbana, The Cure, George Michael, Metallica...

I tend to agree, though attitude, and certainly atitude, are qualities I don't necessarily need in music. Talent is usually enough. ^_^
