Why The Cat Doesn't Revolt
The cat is convinced it is in control
At each whim, the food bringer comes
To open the door
To fill the bowl
The food bringer supplies the cat
With its new clothes
A nice white collar
The cat has all the time in the world
To be a cat
The food bringer answers to the cat's discretion
But the demands of the cat, are very simple
Food, clothes, shelter, and time
This takes no real effort from the food bringer
The cat is in control, dominant, indifferent
All the while, the food bringer pays the bills
Someday, the food bringer may not come
The door may not open
The bowl may not be full
So what is a cat to do? But the cat is never aware of this little fact
This is why the cat doesn't revolt
