Make this into a movie!
Talk about movies that should be made, be honest. I want to see what a live action Outlaw Star movie would look like.

Deus Ex would make an excellent movie, provided they could get the perfect cast for it. It's one of those movies where if it's not spot on in the theme and acting, it'll be a horrible movie.

Then don't drag a five-month-old thread back from the dead, dumbass.
I think i'd laugh my ass off if they did a Vampire in Brooklyn or Dracula: Dead and Loving It style movie with Rasputin as the main character. A movie that isn't entirely non-serious, a bit scary and politically intriguing at times, but a sense of "holy hell, these people are clowns."
I can only imagine what you could do with the material of how the gem-crusted vest Resputin wore stopped bullets. :P That would be a good scene in and of itself.

You HAVE seen the live action Sailor Moon show right? Just.....no.
And the Dragon Ball movie? Have you seen pics? Or pics of Blood:The Last Vamprie live action?
Anyway, I'd like it if the Wizard of Oz series was redone provided they stay true to the books this time, and do Emerald City Of Oz. And I know The Gnole would make an awesome movie ^_^ Oh and Wicked according to the book, not the musical.

Elfen Lied will make a perfect unrated movie for all time.
Using those Hollywood's effect, the film is so going to be epic.

I can't understand why Pillars of the Earth hasn't been made into a movie yet.

"Good Omens" by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman(?) would pobably make a great, weird movie. Especially when put onto the screen by a guy like Terry Gilliam.

I know... just wistful thinking. The live action series was horrible, a SM movie would be even worse, but with the right budget they might be able to make it epic.

Wuthering Heights. With a more modern outlook. Get Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino and Terry Gilliam as directors. It would probably turn out to be strange, but end up being a cult classic.

I changed my mind.
I know who would end up as Crowley, but who would play Aziraphale?

@jack_the_knife
Wuthering Heights - oh I like this one. Especially in the semaphore-version.
Probably Mr Gilliam had some hand in that as well. - Seen that one? The Pythons did it for the "Flying Circus".
@Maggoty Anne
I am no great expert on actors. Most I like are dead or almost so.
But hey - I got it. I would love to see Bill Maher play Aziraphale. He is just the type of borderline-character that´d fit the role of the main protagonists.
Maybe I could imagine Rowan Atkinson somewhat "Black adderish" as a good personification for Crowley.
I´d just hope it wouldn´t be trashed by hollywood, like they normally do when adapting books to the screen.

Oh... that'd be awesome, if they handle the production, cast the right people, and don't CGI it to death.

There's a few sites about it being in a preproduction phase with some really interesting designs for the angels and evangelions. They plan to use the same speacial effects company that did Lord of the Rings.
It unfortunately seems it may go the way of the Enders Game live action movie though.

American Gods and Wicked.
Both of them would be great, but make them three hour movies. Don't skimp a bit at all in them.
Wicked should have a slightly similar photography as Wizard of Oz perhaps. Maybe something in the same vein as May perhaps.

"Finn MacCool" by Morgan Llewellyn would be an awesome epic, but I'd love to see much of Charles deLint's work on screen just to see how someone else's vision of his worlds would look

Like Doom.
I will gladly pay to see 'Destroy All Human' in the cinema.
