While I understand and approve of my man having good and supportive friends, I get tired of hearing about so and sos freakin love and how cute they are, and blah blah blah....sigh. I mean, when we were first in love and met, we were all cutesy and stuff too. I mean, after a year, its not cute to listen to him sleep on the phone anymore. Sigh. Cant he just be content in the fact that we are soulmates? And also, his friends seem to be snobby. I asked to be one of his "sisters" friends on myspace and snob hasnt gotten back to me...blah. Thats what I get. He always wants me to be friends with them, but they dont seem to friendly. Whatever.

How old are you? I don't mean to sound as though I am talking down to you but you seem to have an immature view of your relationship. You say that he should be content to be your soul-mate but has he ever even indicated that he sees you as his soul-mate? It sounds like you two are very different people and that you may be drifting apart and it may be time for you two to sit down and talk to see if you really do have a future together.

There's nothing wrong with being devoted to friends. Don't you want your friends to be devoted to you? If so, then you need to ditch the double standard and let your boyfriend be like that.

I didnt mean to disturb the waters with my not introducing myself...hhm. I am Yelly, I am 29, and I am very new to these things, so let me apologize for my misconduct.
Also, I think my statement is being misinterpreted. What I meant is he is always complaining that we arent as cutesy as we were when we first got together. All I meant is that once you have been with someone for a while, maybe you dont show public displays of affection as much, but I still adore him with all my heart. As for the friend part, I dont resent them, I just wish he didnt expect me to have everything in common with them and that I do all the work to be friends with them. I extended the hand, they didnt shake back. I was just giving an example. No, he doesnt have to think about me all the time. I just think I didnt state what I meant right. So, apologies to those whom I offended. As I said, I am new to these things.

That is okay, I think some people responded in a somewhat harsh was due to the fact that we have had some seriously self-centered, obnoxious newbies as of late and you looked like you could be one of them, but as you apologized I have hope that you are not. I would, however, recomend that you hop over to the intro section (found here) and make a proper intro

No- both are hallmarks of a newbie that posts in Whining only. Whining posts do not coutn to the total. The Site Admin tag has been applied to many othe rmembers who are not admin.
