Good outfits to go with a cane?
I am getting this cane:
http://www.alchemygothic.com/catalog...s_de_Lune.html
I was wondering what outfit(s) would be ideal with it. I already have a black suit with a black vest, white button-up shirt, and black dress trousers, but I was thinking something alone the line of a fedora or a black top hat. BUT I can't find cheap top hats that are around 20-50 dollars. However, I can find a tuxedo-style fedora for under 20 dollars easily. As far as the neck tie area goes, should I just buy a rosary, black bow tie, black tie, or just wear a necklace from Alchemy Gothic? They have a lot of fancy necklaces but IDK if it'll show up right on the outfit. At least with a rosary it's log enough to wear outside the jacket, but i'm not sure if a bow tie would look better or not. The rosary I have is golden with reddish beads, but I thought the gold would throw off the look. I was thinking something alone the line of a silver-tone rosary with brown or black wooden beads that I could get for 10 dollars or less from a local Catholic shop.
Any suggestions? I know the cane might go with other outfits, but IDK. This cane is mainly going to be used on formal occasions as not to damage it. Also links to sites with cheap top hats would help me a lot. I'd like to spend 30 or less on a top hat, but it still look professional and preferrably be a little shiny.
I'm on a budget here and the cane already costs $170-$200.

Wow that is a pricey cane, have you looked around to see if you can get a better price? If you aren't 100% set on that particular one I can link you to the site where Jake got his, it is quite nice and well make (though a bit more simple) and it was around $50.

I'm pretty set on the cane, but maybe showing me the site with the cheaper ones would help. I just realized a decent cravat shirt would cost around 50 dollars. (Although I found one for 14 dollars, but less ornate, but will work.)
My vest is a plain black vest with black buttons and the buttons are in a > pattern from top to bottom. However, a cravat shirt should do nicely. (Although would a regular white button-up work as well? I could overhaul it since it's cheap, but buttons cost a lot if you get some pewter ones.)
The pants aren't a problem because they are black and cuffed on the bottom. I have shoes that could work already.

This is where he got his, they were quite prompt with the shipping and we had absolutely no problems with them.

I can't find any canes I like on that site, and the site slows my computer down... BUT I did find a polished skull cane for 40 dollars. But it looked cheaply made because the skull was kinda lofty. lol
I know I can trust Alchemy Gothic because their stuff is higher quality and is well-made.
By the way, which is better? A cravat shirt, or a plain white button-up?
I think I can still look goth with the plain white shirt.

Someone once came to school with a cane. I asked if he was ok....
He told me he was too tired (read:lazy) to fully walk on his own.

I just bought a black bowtie. Now that I think of it, a rosary would do nicely as a form of jewelry.

I saw a cane at a dollar store near me. It is solid wood, and as I recall, it is painted in some obnoxious colored paint. I thing I will buy a couple. I will defonetly sand off that crappy paint and put a nice light tinted varnish and then a few coats of finish. I'll post pics when it's done.

Buy a big black hat and put a purple band with a purple feather in it, wear purple contacts, black coat with purple fur lining, a dark purple vest or something, black pants with purple trim and bondage straps, big spikey platform boots. Would be well accomplished with the cane I think.

Sounds ridiculously, annoyingly, pimp. I like it.

No I'm not joking, hell I was serious about the Goth Pimp thing haha. I wouldn't particularly choose to wear it myself (hmm... theres a halloween idea...) But I still think that it would look pretty cool. And also if you added some really pale foundation to that list and thick eyeliner, with a bit of purple eyeshadow. Dude, now that's pimp!
