Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

A great site to help you learn music a bit

http://www.warbeats.com/

This site is amazing. Keep in mind, it's very Fruity Loops friendly, BUT it still takes you through a lot of music theory and is easily understandable for those who use programs to make their music or to just have a basic understanding of music composition.

It's helping me TONS.

That's really a cool site.. But I learned much (and I mean ALOT) of theory through books and books and a teacher.

I haven't look yet, but could a 13 year old understand it?
My brother just started playing the trumpet...
and if he doesn't get good and learn actual notes...now..
I'm going to die.

I used it alot and am self taught (have not seen anyone get a teacher for that though)
I went from organized beats *somewhat* with progression to noise

What is fruityloops? I always used GP5 and my ears for composing.

Fruityloops (FL studio) is DAW program with a beat sequencer and piano roll (grid)..
It's probably the best audio program I own.
