Anybody who cares even the slightest for the beauty that nature has to offer us can see the disgust with which human kind is treating it. This above link, is a perfect example of why people need to treat the earth with more care. If every man and woman did the slightest bit to reduce pollution, whether it be recycling 1 cup, paper plate, box, etc. a day or even choosing a bicycle ride down to the store, over a car then we would see huge difference's in our earths rescource supply. It really is a pity to watch such wonderous creations be brought to extreme conditions such as Lake Baikal in the above link. The deepest, largest fresh water lake in the entire world is showing signs of extreme wear due to pollution and climate, anybody with a good head on their shoulder's can see that this is a blatant sign that humans need to stop and think about what they're doing to mother earth. Such beautiful creations should not be put to waste, people !

I really don't get why people aren't more energy efficient, even if you don't believe that energy use is hurting the planet it still saves you money, and most methods of reducing your energy usage has absolutely no negative impact on your daily life. Remember to replace your lightbulbs with cfls, when buying new appliances go for energy star rated products, and don't let the water run while you're brushing your teeth, these aren't difficult things to do but they can make a huge difference.
