Anyone screwed over with student loans?

Im taking a loan out for approx 50k for art school in january (3d animation). This covers tuition and living expenses for the 1 year intensive course. Its a really good school apparently - but im still nervous about the year ending, being 25 years old, jobless and my life being screwed from debt.Everyone is encouraging me saying its an investment in my future, but im still nervous about it.Anyone had any experiences, or words of wisdom?

This is posted in the wrong board.

But yes, I've basically sold my soul for student loans.

I'm in the process of selling my soul as well.... >.> I'm still waiting to see how much federal aid I'm going to be getting, and then I have to start the process of taking out a private student loan to cover the rest of the costs. Not to mention I need to pay off a good deal of money from holds the school has on me right now. That's going to force me to borrow money from family so I can go ahead and register for classes next semester, and then I'll have to add that amount to the private loan so that I can pay them back when I get my excess aid. Not to mention, I'm going to have to have my grandfather (who will probably end up being who lends the money for the holds in the first place) co-sign the private loan for me, because my credit isn't good enough to go about it on my own. I'm going to be in debt the rest of my life (figuratively speaking) because of school; but it'll be worth it.

Luckily next year I'll be eligible for more federal aid as well as the state grant for students in need, which should take care of everything. *grumble*
