Lucid Dreams
http://health.howstuffworks.com/lucid-dreaming.htm
It's been about a year since i was introduced to the concept of Lucid Dreaming. I've only tried once through the steps or "phases" in order to gain full control of my dreams, but only reached to the point where i know I'm dreaming in several of my dreams, the Dream recalling was annoying, i used to wake up remembering up to 8 dreams per night, i spent the entire day reliving my dreams because they were so many.
Anyway, i was wondering, has any of you heard of it, tried it or ever succeeded controlling dreams?

Yep. I used a method when I was younger of "programming" it into my mind. Every night I would put an image in my head and repeat to myself "I know I am dreaming if I see (said image)". Now I pretty much always know I'm dreaming and when I have a nightmare, I enjoy it. I don't recall ever having absolute control over a dream, but my control (and my amount of flying/superpower dreams) has increased.
So if I see something in a dream I don't like, I beat the shit out of it. Or fuck it.

I have to take some sort of medicine and haven't had any dream ever since.
(Not as much as it should, most of them I forgot)

Yeah, i do it all the time it takes a bit of willpower to do you got to play with it you have to get to sleep KNOWING you will fall asleep and everything after that point you are sleeping. Rule number 2 is anything you think will happen, will happen. If your dream is from the gates of horn anyways in other words if you think some guy is going to chase you, guess what. some guy is going to chase you. PM me if you want me to go in a bit more detail ive been working with dreams for about 2 years now im getting quite good at it.

Um, I've read about lucid dreaming before but I always know I'm dreaming. My dreams are just very, very mundane, so it doesn't matter either way, and they're never that vivid. I'm usually like, "Oh, so I'm dreaming. As I have done almost every night of my life. How fucking exhilarating."
I often dream about stuff like eating Pringles and handing homework in late.

I used to occasionally have dreams about cardboard. It excited me for some reason.

Sometimes even now when i don't have that awful dream recalling thing, when i have nightmares, i can always tell myself, open your eyes, i do and i wake up
I would really love to have control over what i dream, like make a setting or fly whenever i want to

Flying's awesome. It feels so real, too.

I know, i once had a flying dream, not lucid, but it was amazing, my body felt weightless and air through my hair and all...
That's why i said "whenever i want to"
