Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

I think I'm going bald!
I was in the process of dying my hair purple. I put the dye on and I pushed my hair onto the top of my head into a sloppy ball. To my horror, my hairline was going up at the 'corners'!
What the fuck? My hair is so nice and healthy and thick!
I have notices when I shower whenI rund my fingers though my hair that strands are left behind in between my fingers. But I hadn't thought anything of it.
I am scared shitless! Be kind when you make comments, I am scared out of my mind that I will be bald in a few years.

It's called growing up. If it bothers you, get a hawk in the meantime.
You wont be young forever.
I expect my hair to thin as well. It's going to take a good long ass time, but eventually, I too may have to keep my head well shaved.
It's all good though. Bald can be beautiful.

How long is your hair? I know some people who can't have long hair without it falling or breaking off because it is weak. I'm pretty sure there's conditioners and stuff to make your hair stronger.

Take some embarrassing photographs so we can determine if you are actually going bald or not.

Actully, I don't think so. I looked in a mirror under brighter light, and I think I over reacted.

You're probably fine. I've always had thick hair, and I lose more than most people, it's pretty weak. Like you said about yourself in the shower.
I even had a couple of grey hairs when I was like 10 or 11.

Did anyone else hear the song by Rush start playing in their head when they read the title of this thread?

You ALMOST look like a strange cross between Wolfwood and Vash from Trigun. That's really not a bad thing. I'd say cut the hair off to a medium length or learn how to better wear it around your face.
Have you ever thought of curling your hair? That might look really good, shorten it a bit, and not have you sacrifice length of hair.

I think he'd look good with a little Doc Holliday facial 'do, as someone else said.
And forget Vash, I think he sort of has something of a Tim Curry thing going on.
Opteron should do this: http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...DocHoliday.jpg
And anyway, his hair might look better shorter.
Anyway that's not what this thread is about...that's another thread. Christian Slater has a receding hairline and he looks good, so don't worry about it...baldy.

Yeah its not a big deal, do the men on your mom's side of the family go bald? If not it could just be your hair starting to thin out a bit.
I was a bit scared the summer because I had discovered I was growing a white streak in my hair, but then thought "Sweeney Todd" XD I actually kinda miss it now that I dyed my hair.

I had put mouse in my hair but by the end of the day, it wore out, that is the reason my hair is everywhere again.
I did think of curling it, but I wouldn't know how.

I think that a hawk, shorter cut, or shaving would be a good thing. I think that your hair is not doing you any favors at this point and makes you look rather bland. Your face isn't half bad- you shouldn;t hide it behind your hair.

I think a Robert DeNiro ( Taxi Driver ) style mohawk could quite suit you.

Hmm I think the hair looks alright as it is. There's a hint of Nick Cave in the way you look.
