Question

What do you honestly think will happen to Bush and his cronies? I wish he would, but I doubt Obama will allow them to be prosecuted in the country. So what would it take for them to be charge in the International Court, and what could they actually do, or would it be kind of a worthless indictment?

It wouldn't work. Bush has money and power, and if that was all it took to shit all over the whole fucking world, he can certainly buy his way out of reality.

An indictment on him could go either way.

I think it would be awesome if they all spontaneously combusted, but I don't think that's gonna happen.

Did you see Frost/Nixon? That will happen again. Except with George Bush and Andy Dick.

I've had lunch with Andy Dick, he's nice.

I'm pretty sure most of the them will get away without any serious indictments or at least Bush would. In fact, I'm sure the US would help him because it wouldn't look good if a President got in trouble. Show of solidarity, respect for the office, America's rep and all the jazz. You know.

Indictment where? In the International Court of Justice, whose jursidiction the United States denies? What are they going to do, get the U.N. security council to make a show of passing a resolution so the U.S. can veto it?

Here's what happened the last time someone made a serious attempt to hold the United States to an international standard of justice:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicaragua_v._United_States

Justice applies only to those without power. It's like Chomsky says. Crimes are what the other guy does. Don't hold your breath on this one. Watch exactly how much nothing occurs, and take the implications of that on board.. then join the dark side with Jillian and I. We have cookies.

One of my friends once said it would be worth going to hell just so he could lavaboard Karl Rove.

Personally, I would love to rip Dick Cheney's balls off with a pair of forceps and watch him bleed to death.

But the real question is, would that be considered torture?

This guy belongs to the 20% of America , and you can't take to the court the 20% of a country . Specially when the rest is afraid of what all the money and power of the 20% can do to them .
I see him teaching politics on a conservative , private university .While America try to rebuild the trust of the international community again , he'll talk about his "freedom" and his idea of "god" and "good" somewhere . And there will be plenty of ears to listen , I know .
Story repeats itself over and over again ...

My friend had a good idea today regarding that. We water board Bush and Cheney, to see who breaks first and admits that they're guilty of whatever. Whoever lasts longer gets a mercifully quick death!

Yes, lets punish the people who did their job. Then in the future, when we're in a similar situation, (which it will happen again, sometime) then no one will step up and do what it takes. Why? Because of a bunch of self righteous asses who think that the worlds all Kumbaya.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumbaya

If you think the worlds all hold hands and we'll all get together in happiness is BS! If you think that those who hate you will follow the rules.. You're wrong!! NAIVE!!!

How far would you go to protect your family, your friends, your neighbors?

All the way! Nothing left back!

Regardless of what you think, it's still survival of the fittest.

When I invade a country with a democratically elected government against the will of the U.N, and cause the deaths of thousands of people, you can water board me.

Deal?

Yeah.. got anything new?

Since when does the UN matter? They're a toothless organization who puts perpetrators of genocide on the board for votes. How long was the food for oil bs going on? Whens the last time the UN actually mattered? They didn't stop NK, Taliban, Somalia, Darfur?? Shall I go on?

Oh! Water boarding!! Oh!! OMG!! They're soooooo evil!!! Jesus f'ng christ!!? Since when has any of our enemies ever followed any rules of warfare? Why are we the badguys.. Oh wait.. yeah.. because you're to chicken shit to pull that crap elsewhere. Water boarding a few people or an abuh graib or two does not make us worse than them or the enemy entirely. We're not perfect. But we're sure f'n better than them.

Get your nose out the f'n air. You're in the trenches with the rest of us.

Iraq was an imminent threat to the safety of Americans, dude. Just ask the Bush administration. They were going to take this big fleet of UAVs that they didn't have, see, and pack them with the WMDs they also didn't have, put them on boats, sneak those boats past the U.S. fleet in the Persian Gulf, up through the Suez Canal, accross the Mediterranean and over the Atlantic, then launch those drones in a pointless unprovoked attack on the Eastern seaboard, thereby killing an infinitesimally small portion of the U.S. popluation and pissing the rest off beyond imagination, guaranteeing a massive retaliation which would make the actual war in Iraq look like tiddlywinks.

Why? Ugh, don't you know anything by now? They're evil, man. They hate our freedoms. That's why Saddam Hussein planned and carried out the WTC attack.
