New Arrival
Well, it seems the proper thing to do is to fill out the official questionnaire.
Let's see...
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I am a former art student who has a keen interest in antiques, history, vintage fashion, and generally anything old and interesting.
2. Where are you from?
Somewhere in the Northeastern United States.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Terry Pratchett
4. What are your favorite films?
The list fluctuates often, but amongst those I can watch repeatedly are Arsenic and Old Lace, Harvey, Tombstone, Patton, and of course, Interview With a Vampire.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Gabriel's Oboe - from The Mission soundtrack, by Ennio Morricone
6. At your funeral?
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem Mass
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Quietly, in my sleep, without fear or expectation.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
A black one
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
White button up dress shirt, black frock coat, trousers, and boots.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
My grandfather.
11. What's your favorite band?
London Symphony Orchestra
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Bachelor of Arts - Fine Art
13. Why did you join?
Common interests, I suppose.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
"Pshaw, my dear fellow, what do the public, the great unobservant public, ... care about the finer shades of analysis and deduction!" - Sherlock Holmes
*Bows*
Your obediant servant,
Havelock V.

I think that's the best answer to any question of any introduction post I have ever seen, and I gladly welcome you to the site. The past few introductions have been a bit drab to say the least..

Why thank you for your kind greetings, Mr. Nigma.
Terry Pratchett is a brilliant writer, and I do hope he pulls through his condition so that we may yet see more Discworldian tales from him.
I often find that Mr. Holmes is an astute commentator on life and am glad that you enjoyed the quotation.
Kind regards.

Uni, he wouldn't have said that if you didn't say there were 'mean peeps' and Duane... you're getting annoying again.
Welcome new one, will you be attempting to keep up that charm of yours throughout your stay?

*Blushes and pulls at collar* How very, forward ... of you, Miss Louise.
And Sir Corpsey, I shall endeavour to remain as amicable as possible during my travels here, unless I am suitably provoked, of course. *touches brim of hat* Pleased to make your acquaintance, sir.

Luckily for this gent, he doesn't tickle my fancy at all.
Gives me more time to obsess over other men instead.

I hate it when people say things like "*I touch my hat*", it reminds me of when I trolled a cybersex chatroom.

Wow JCC, I am so taking back that reputation point, that's so incredibly childish.
Edit: if it'd let me, but I need to throw around some points to others before I can.

We will allow you to claim India as your own as long as your ivory shipments continue uninterrupted, but we are a bit worried. The last time you came to the supply station you removed double the usual supply of ammo and only half the needed food--and now there are these disturbing reports that the natives are worshiping some new white god.
