Reintroduction ~Salutations once again~ (Tips Top Hat)
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I am currently a Theatre major at Cypress college and someday I’ll either transfer to U.C.I., U.C.L.A. or U.C.F. I’ve been in five plays thus far including “Twelfth Night” (Fabian), Mixquixtil (Nothing, Everything and nowhere), Knifefighter (Mario), “Time Of Your Life” (Society Gentleman) and currently “As You Like It” (Le Beau)
My hobbies ares video games, acting, directing, cooking, walking, Japanese culture, etc.
Also I love reading. Recently my fancy is for books that teach me how to divine the future (e.g. Tarot, I-ching, etc.).
2. Where are you from?
Orange County, CA
3. Who is your favorite author?
Chekov, Jacqueline Wright, Nicky Silver, Shakespeare
4. What are your favorite films?
Salo, Threads, THX-1138, Waking Life, Jacob’s Ladder, Porky’s and many others that I can’t remember off the top of my head.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
The Theme From Mademoiselle Mozart – Tetsuya Komuro
Waltz 2 From Jazz Suite – Dmitri Shostakovich
Die Goldene Kette - Schandmaul
Also Anything by The Last Dance, The Birthday Massacre, VNV Nation, Too many songs and bands to name.
6. At your funeral?
The Trojans - Arna Fari
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
With loved ones around me and before I die I’d give them my pearls of wisdoms, I’d be sure to tell everybody how much I loved them then I’d pass peacefully.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
If I must have a casket the outside would be black with a black lacquer finish and the inside would be soft red velvet. Nothing too fancy.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My top hat, black lacy romeo shirt, faux leather pants, platform boots and a ahnk necklace (maybe a leather cocker if I’m in the mood).
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
The lack of responsibilities
11. What's your favorite band?
The Last Dance
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
My past majors had been Travel/Tourism, Music and now it’s Acting/Directing.
13. Why did you re-join?
It’s funny, I didn’t mean to leave in the first place.
If I remember correctly my last post was about me taking a kick boxing class. Well I took that class and then some. Shortly after that class I discovered my passion for acting and for those of you who have majored in theatre, drama or acting of any kind know what I am talking about, it is a huge time commitment.
Like I said I’ve been in five plays and between rehearsals and trying to find the freetime I was hard pressed to find time to come back.
Now though I have enough experience under my belt where I can have more free time to come back and hang out here which makes me elated (Yipee!) .
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Male….Let me double check that (looks in pants) yep I’m a guy alright. No doubt about that.

Motherfucker, I've been wanting to see Salo for years. Have you got it on DVD or did you watch it online?

While I really appreciate Salo, for Pasolini's genius as well as the unparralleled experience viewing it provides, I cannot help but suspect anyone who lists it among their favourite films of being a coprophile themselves.
I caught it on VHS when it was actually broadcast here about 10 years ago.

I just got it on my computer. Easily one of the most disturbing movies ever made and if you love disturbing movies you have got to see "Threads"
It was made in the early '80s by the BBC and it was a realistic view of what would happen to you, society and humanity after a nuclear holocaust. Great stuff but it's hard to watch again more than once because it's that disturbing.

Hahaha. Fucking yes, Salo is the shit.
Oh, har har, I'm so punny.
Anyway, have you seen Men Behind the Sun or Philosophy of a Knife? If you like Threads, those two films seem like the type you may be interseted in.

That's hilarious.
The reason why I have it listed as one of my favorite films is because of the impact it had on me. It's not a film that I watch over and over again, as a matter of fact I only have seen it once. The movie was so intense, so disturbing and vivid that it's engraved into my psyche.
In my opinion the greatest movies of all should only really be seen once.

Great to see you posting again man. Do you still have long hair? From your posts in the picture thread I think so but it isn't clear to my old eyes.
My ponytail is now to between my shoulder blades.
Welcome back man.

Yes, I still have the long hair. I'm never cutting it short unless I start to look bald. In that case I'll get a mohawk.
It's nice to be back and see great people like you again. Do you got pics of your ponytail?

Nope, I never heard of them so I looked it up in wikipedia and the stories look fasicinating. I didn't even know that anyone made movies about the Japanese war crimes during WWII and now that I do know I will deffinatly seek them out. Thank you so much for the suggestion.
