I am a tad tired of seeing Mr. Depp and Ms. Bonham Carter in all of Tim Burton's films. However, there are many fine names in that cast list. Most interesting. Perhaps it shall merit a look.

Ms. Carter actualy sort of looks like one of my old teachers. However I am quite looking forward to seeing Chirstopher Lee as the Jabberwock, I just hope for his sake he remembers to look out for that vorpal blade.

I am anxiously awaiting this film. Yes, Johnny Depp is in a lot of Tim Burton movies, but I've been downright obsessed with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, and much of what they have spawned for years. The only downside to this is now everyone and their mother will now also be into all the "Alice in Wonderland" craze, much like pirates became insanely popular and overdone after the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and Hawt Goffic will be carrying all sorts of related merchandise so baby bats everywhere can express their orgasms for Tim Burton, or if they had a lick of since, Lewis Carroll. Alas.

This idea's been in production since AGES ago. I'm really excited it's finally coming out.

Wouldn't it be Mrs. Since although she kept her last name, she's married to Mr. Burton?

I'm not usually a fan of Tim Burton movies, but I'll go just to see Stephen Fry as a cat.
I don't think I'll be able to take Christopher Lee seriously though. I'll keep picturing him as Count Dooku.
I'm worried though. According to this it will be a mix of CGI and Live Action. I really don't want to see another Beowulf.

I read Johnny Depp, and then i read he was playing the Mad Hatter and I wanted to fucking kill something! I hate hate hate Johnny Depp.
Bottom-line, he's not as fucking fantastic as everyone says he is and I'm fucking sick of it and this will NOT help the situation.

Ah well I'm afraid I must apologize for that mistake then, I was simply reading the name off of Havelock's post, I had no idea she was wed to the director.
Also I didn't notice that Stephen Fry would be in this, in which case it makes this movie a must see for me. Trust me when somthing is a must see for me it is a big deal since with my running average I am lucky to see a movie in theatres every two years.

Bonham Carter is my secret lover. I'd seriously grow a dick if I was guaranteed a shag with that woman.

GTFO!
On topic, I like Tim Burton and am surprised what he'll make of the story, but I'm also getting sick of seeing Depp and Bonham Carter in every bleeding picture of his.
Although I was pleasantly surprised with Bonham Carter's performance in Sweeny Todd, it was one of the films few redeeming features.

Fuck that! Beowulf was a complete shitfest of a "movie", I felt like wanting to vomit my organs out after seeing that piece of Hollywood garbage. The contrasting images throughout was just annoying. Can't even believe Gaiman was associated with that.
I gotta cross my fingers on this one.

I'll see this, because I've heard a lot about it, and apparently he's doing some crazy experimental animation thing.
But then again, Tim Burton always seems to have lots of crazy ideas for big ambitious projects that never quite work.

I'm just glad this is coming out now and not when I was little. Its definitely not sticking to the book and I was something of an AiW purist when I was like 11. Still looks good, the girl playing Alice is cute, but I'm seriously wondering why they have a boat on the set.

I know and it's been confused quite a number of times with the rumored movie adaptation of American McGee's Alice. I also wonder when that's coming out.

Yep, but mainly because Cyber Trybe's cover of "White Rabbit" in going to be in the movie....and my boyfriend is technically a member of them =) That, and they fix my car for practically nothing when I was in that bad accident.

Oh God, yes. I bumped around like a kid on too much sugar when I stumbled across it on IMDB for the first time. Can´t wait to see what he does with it.

I am, naturally, looking very forward to this.
Especially Stephen Fry.

In agreement with other members, I, too, am sick of seeing Depp and Carter in all of Burton's recent movies. I like them both, but I think being casted over and over again is absolute overkill.
It's too bad I don't see the Mock Turtle on the list of characters. Despite being quite the boring character (as I found many, unfortunately, were), I did once have a dream that he appeared in, so I took a special liking to him, although his character did wish to kill me.
