Exclamation politcal vs heavy metal

i just got done with my paper and i want to know what you think of it and please do critize i dont mind
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
For every metal head out there in the world, they know when nu metal was born. What it also gave birth was two to genres, the rebellious political metal and later in time, the more aggressive genre heavy metal, leaving a kiss of death. In ways they are twins but they never look alike, there always growing.
They found ways to influence people about today society, the album covers of Lamb of God criticize American foreign policy. Cattle Decapitation, vegetarians that use explicit covers and songs like “veal and the cult of torture” condemn the meat industry. System of the down’s Serj tankan is co founder of a non profit organization that’s works on social issues. Chris Barnes from six feet under wrote the song “Amerika the Brutal” after his cousin deployed for Iraq and received supportive emails from troops in Iraq.
It is expanding and more diverse especially in countries like Brazil, Columbia and Indonesia making it global and becoming a tool for social and political commentary. It takes a great meaning in places where people struggle to survive. Metal grandfathers black Sabbath criticized the Vietnam War with song like “war pigs” and “children of the grave”, and iron maiden “run to the hills” was an angry denunciation of the displacement of Native Americans.

They both fall under the same genre, but there D.N.A. makes them totally different. Recently the mainstream is misunderstands metal. Any band that was heavier or darker than Metallica gains no recognition. And most it went underground away from being misunderstood. Political brings back the fighting spirit and gives us independent thinking and goals instead of buying humanist- material tripe that the mainstream media proclaims.

These band you talk about aren't really that groundbreaking. Punk bands and other bands have been doing this thing much better for much longer. Look at the UK peace punk scene in the mid 80's and the crust scene.
