Stockings in the Summer
Ladies (and men) do you guys stop wearing stockings/tights come summer? I just bought two lacey/designed stockings for 20 bucks but I haven't worn them yet. I want to because they're so pretty but I'll feel like an idiot around the bare-legged girls on campus. It's been around the 80s lately...
Anyways I'm not asking should I wear the stockings because I know I will but I just want to know how many of you guys still rock stockings on those hot sunny days.

I like leggings/tights in the summer because when my legs are completely bare they stick to the seat of the car and I get goosebumps when I walk into most public buildings because they crank the AC, just stay away from any that are thick and don't allow your skin to breath.

I wear stockings/leggings every day of the year, regardless of the weather.

I like to wear thin tights or ones with lots of holes in them. Sometimes I wear lacey tights and even fishnets when the humidity hasn't spiked and if it is cloudy. The only setback is when walking for long periods of time, I get sweaty around the knees. I hate wearing black tights with a black skirt in the summer heat/humidity.

I don't wear normal tights in summer, being the size I am and with the additon of the heat things can get...uncomfortable and sweaty. Lace or fishnet tights ( I am not able to wear stockings sadly ) I do sometimes wear, as the holes allow much better air flow and so on. Plus they look great with a knee length skirt and heels :-D

I wear sometimes fishnet tights in the summer too. Just please use some suncream. It looks really funny when people have little tan spots on them. Fishnets soaked in suncream is also a NO.

Wool is actually a great summer fabric.. it wicks away sweat WONDERFULLY.
Slightly off-topic, WeLoveColors has AWESOME tights/fishnets.

Yeah the tights I bought are more like fishnets plus I'm already naturally tanned so I don't think any tan would be noticeable.

I wear my stockings all year round, mostly to avoid sun exposure on my legs.

I'd wear stockings if I ever needed to wear shorts. I hate exposing my bare legs, what am I, a hussy?

WeLoveColors is one of the only places I've found that has vertical striped tights. Good shop.
I used to wear tights to school in Malaysia's tropical heat. Now I don't know how on earth I did it, because it's so fucking uncomfortable being sweaty in tights. I happily go bare-legged in summer, and it's a good excuse to shave my legs frequently. I still wear tights to clubs though whatever the temperature, but in warm summer nights opt for shredded fishnets over the solid animal print.

I like the zebra-print tights in the catalogue very much.

Oh yes I do and my mom hates it! But whatever, I'm not hot and she isn't wearing them. So I don't see the big deal.

i would never go outside during the day in a skirt or shorts without stockings or tights, i have this horrible fear of sun exposure - i am one of those people that can walk outside for ten seconds without a hat and 100 spf, and come back in dark brown. my legs are the palest part of me and i am not letting them get any darker...

I'll wear knee-length capris for a casual look under a skirt or something. But unless I'm going out strictly at night, no way! Too hot. It looks a little foolish, even if you don't feel hot.
Edit: Not really capris, I mean more like leggings.

I'll wear them if its not ridiculously hot if it is though sometimes i'll wear pot hole fishnets or ripped tights so their a little more airy and my legs don't get to hot.
