Why do Goths Lack a Sense of Humor?
Is not having any sense of humor part of being Goth? Seriously, it is like everyone lacks a sense of humility. Word play seems to be totally wrong most the time. While there are a hand full of people who know what a joke is, I'm wondering if that makes them not Goth also.

I don't think it's Goths, per se. Rather, I think that some folks just take the Internetz far too seriously at the wrong times, or not seriously enough at others.
As a wise man once said:

I speak only for myself when I say that I am a Very Serious Person. It's just my nature. I do have a sense of humor, though, I just reserve it for the times I feel like using it. I like to stay on guard, brah.

Whenever I hang out with a certain group of goths I get a sore face from laughing so hard.
But really there's the same proportion of goths without a sense of humour as there are PEOPLE without a sense of humour. It's a proportion of the population that I have a lot of trouble getting along with.
