Good Afternoon Everyone
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
- I like skirmishing (Dressing up in Civil War era clothing and shooting tradition weapons at breakable targets (Picture Here))
- I like playing guitar but I've been slacking off recently
- I like taking pictures

- I like playing Magic the Gathering.
- I am currently unemployed
- I like glowstringing but I can't really do that much.
- I like anime.
- I like hunting (Graphic image of my last kill)
2. Where are you from?
Originally Rock Island but I am going to college at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb. 3. Who is your favorite author?
So many good ones...
Here's a few favorites - Edgar Allen Poe
- Michael Crichton
- Ann Rice
- Tucker Max
- George Orwell
- Clive Cussler
4. What are your favorite films?
Once again... SOOO many... - Boondock Saints
- Evil Dead series
- Sweeney Todd
- Phantom of the Opera
- The Wall
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Pantera or Techno...
Chances are I'll never get married if I expect that to happen.
6. At your funeral?
Rosin the Beau. When my dad found out he had cancer he had a cd made of the songs he used to sing to me when I was a kid (mostly Irish folk tunes). We played him singing this song at his funeral. I would like to someday learn the song well enough so that I can sing the harmonies so that I can get my singing added to my dads track and have it played at my funeral.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Something quick and painless. Cut down in the middle of my prime before my life starts waning.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Black lacquered outside with a red satin lining.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I really like my Black tripp pants with blue stitching, blue dress shirt sleeves rolled up and black long sleeved shirt underneath.
Only problem with it is my cape doesn't match it >.<
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
The ignorance of not thinking the world is fucked.
11. What's your favorite band?
Band favs go to: - Pantera
- Metallica
- System of Down
- Black Sabbath
- Daft Punk
- Dimmu Borgir
- Throwdown
- The Beatles
Favorite composers would be:
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I've been at NIU for a Year and a Half (I graduated from High School early) and my major used to be Bio/Psych but I decided becoming a doctor wasn't really me. Now I have no idea what I want to do with life. I'm taking some philosophy classes and considering doing the ROTC program to pay for school and I'm going to see what sounds good.
13. Why did you join?
Just thought it would be nice to talk to like minded people.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm male.

You hunt, play Magic:The Gathering, list shitty bands that any tramp nondescript wannabe emo/goth kid likes and wear Tripp.
Your only redeeming feature is that you like the Evil Dead films.
And overall you're crap and shit, so it does no redeeming.

Well hunting is fun and venison tastes amazing. I play magic cuz it gives me something to do and its entertaining. I like a lot of different bands those were just some that came to mind. There is nothing wrong with any of those bands with the exception of perhaps system of a down, they're on there since they have been a favorite of mine for so long. Also a lot of the Irish folk songs I enjoy have no actual band (although Metallica did a Whiskey in the Jar cover) and I wear tripp bceause it has shinies on it and blue jeans last like 3 weeks for me. Plus bdu pants don't particularly look good although they are comfortable.
So fuck you.

I like Daft Punk and Sabbath.
But that music list is pretty much the same list you'll get off any kid trying to be different by listing several genres.
Just go down to your local wannabe hangout, try find one that isn't killing itself by drinking vodka and red bull or trying to get attention by claiming it's pregnant.
Also: No, fuck you.

Dude the fact that you really felt compelled to list all of those bands just makes me think that you are a tool. I mean I'll try and keep an open mind, I'm just not very optimistic. Also I didn't really see all that much gothic music on that big, long list of yours. It makes me think you're one of those people who think goth is a mindset and not a subculture based around music.

Yeah I don't really give a fuck about the rest of your music.
What you listed confirms everything I said.
I agree with Sol.

I feel like that list was copy pasted from a 'what to listen to' site or something...
Anyway, sorry to assume, welcome! Enjoy your stay!

Cosigned for truth and win.
Seriously, it's not looking good for you right now. Especially when you put hunting, skirmishing, Magic The Gathering, anime and unemployed together in the same response and fuck up Poe's middle name.

I avoided Poe's middle name as it's become a VERY common mistake in intros recently.
I just found my Edgar Allan Poe graphic novel adaptations...

Even (gasp!) I am horribly guilty of making this disrespectful error to the great Edgar Allan Poe. I think many Americans make this mistake because of the accepted proper name of Allen in the U.S. Funny that both Allan and Allen are of Scottish origin.
Oh, and welcome, Stabby. By the way, Tripp clothing isn't made very well and will fall apart even if you have it professionally dry cleaned.

I enjoy skirmishing and hunting because it's something that ties myself to my Uncle and my Dad. I am a bit nerdy with the magic I'll admit but it's what I've been starting to spend my time doing.

No actually I wouldn't after watching my dad waste away with cancer for two years I'd rather just die before I start going downhill.

Yes I do fail at spelling... I never noticed it was Allan... I've always heard it spelled and never looked at how its written.
Tripp Clothing does fall apart but I have pairs of pants that have lasted 2 years as opposed to 3 months. If I could find pants that lasted longer I'd wear them all the time.

It was my Uncle's idea because it was my first kill. I decided I liked it because it's record of one of the greatest moments of my life. I love the rush of the hunt. And I thanked the deer for giving its life to sustain me.
In other news:
I'm not exactly sure what's considered "Goth" music. I enjoy most music but I've always just mostly listened to what people around me listen to (with the exception of hip-hop that shit sucks). If you have suggestions of bands I'll be more than happy to look it up and see what I like. Honestly I may not be the best fit for a "goth" but I hoped you guys would be at least mildly accepting. If you guys think I'm not up to your standards I'll just fuck off.

Wait a minute. Enjoying the taste of an animal carcass is good but enjoying in the glory of having killing it yourself isn't?

No it doesn't. Metallica and Dimmu Borgir, on the other hand, do.

I disagree. Perhaps I'm being a little unfair when I say that about the whole genre. However, all the crap that people listen to at parties and the stuff that gets blasted when people drive down the road shouldn't be considered music. I get no pleasure whatsoever listening to it. I personally enjoy Metallica; I think " Of Wolf and Man" is quite possibly their best song. I do like some of the more heard of songs though, like "Master of Puppets." I am less fond of Dimmu Borgir, but I still enjoy listening to them when I'm in the right mood.
