I have returned from the dark abyss of chemistry lab right ups Oral presentations.

Those of you who have been here for a while will probably remember me. I signed on to Gothic.net in 2006 as “Bleed Rebellion” and then stopped posting sometime in 2008… this is mostly due to the fact that I changed schools and enrolled in an IB program (which is very rigorous) and thus had no time to post. Now I’m at the end of my summer break and I have the time to post so I signed back up under a different name (I forgot my old password) so I thought I’d do a new introduction. I should be able to post through my senior year because I’ve already earned almost all of my credits and am thus mostly taking art electives. The only hard class I’ll be taking is physics… I’m taking intro to law as well but I just found out that its shit easy and a waste of time…. Hopefully I can transfer out. Wish me luck!

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Right now all I’m doing is working on my education (applying to universities, applying for scholarships, trying to go to Japan as a foreign exchange student in March, etc).
My hobbies include: Foreign language (especially Japanese), Dance (hip-hop, modern, ballet, West African, and Baltimore Club Dance) Reading, makeup, Concerts, writing, theory, Chemistry, Manga/Anime, DDR, getting fucked up, and being happy!!! YAY!

As for a job in September I’m supposed to start working at a new dance studio that my Hip-Hop teacher is opening.

2. Where are you from?
Hawai’i

3. Who is your favorite author?
That’s hard to say… lately I’ve only been reading required school reading and manga…. But back in the glorious days when I actually read for the pure joy of it I liked: Garth Nix, Isabelle Allende, Anne Rice, Paulo Freire, etc. I more so have favorite books rather than authors. I had to read Haruki Murakami in my world lit class and I actually really liked him. I recommended reading the Wind-up Bird Chronicle by him.

4. What are your favorite films?
Rent, Hair, Taiyo No Uta, Oldboy, etc.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Itoshii Hito by Miyavi and All my lovin by the Beatles are our songs so I guess that’s what we would choose.

6. At your funeral?
I don’t really care… as long as it’s not religious. Something instrumental and brooding… in a Malice Mizer-ish style.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
….. Peacefully, painlessly and still pretty after a meaningful, happy, love filled adventure of a life.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Cremation please.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I’ve stopped caring, I hate wearing shoes also. I guess a pair of black cotton shorts and a tank top. I wanna spend my life on the beach and in the rain forest.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I don’t miss anything really… it sucked… the only thing would be the idealism that surrounded my politics and ideology until I was about 15.

11. What's your favorite band?
Dir en grey, Larc~en~Ciel, Zeppelin, Straight Line Stitch, SOAD, The Beatles and Biggie…

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I’m a senior in High school. I will be majoring in Japanese language and Hawaiian Language and My minor will either be dance or international communications…. My minors are up in the air as of now…

13. Why did you join?
I had the free time..

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I’m female…. I have a VAGINA… tee hee hee

Anime/Manga that I like.
1. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
The Anime is exponentially better than the Manga. You must watch it! And you must watch it with subs because the dubbing just takes away from it.

2. Bleach

3. Samurai 7
4. Fruits Basket
5. Aishiteruze Baby
6. Mars
7. Fushigi Yugi
8. Death Note

9. Chocolate Underground
This is for kids (maybe 13 year olds) but it is really good and I'm sure you'll like it no matter your age.

10. Detroit Metal City
Is very vulgar and hillarious (not for those who are easily offended)....

11. Tsubasa

Aishiteruze Baby was actually able to bring a tear to my eye.
Death Note was marvelous.

I've only read volume 1 and 2 of Aishiteruze baby but I plan to read the rest soon.

I just saw Death Note 2 (the live action) at Otakon and I enjoyed it. The death scenes were hillarious. And I was stoked that the theme song was Danny California.

I as well watched Death Note 2 at a local convention. They did a good job with casting that fellow as L, but I have mixed feelings on the person they chose to play Light (I believe that he was in the Battle Royale movies).

Ah Fushigi Yugi, the original Inu Yasha. Of the ones you listed, I didn't like Death Note but I have a soft spot for Fruits Basket. Been meaning to check out Tsubasa since it crosses over with xxxHolic.

I remember you too, welcome back!

Thanks for the welcome wishes! XD
I started reading xxxHolic first and then moved over to Tsubasa cuz it’s my BF’s favorite.
Inuyasha was my favorite thing ever in middle school and then on about the 450th ep I got tired of all the incessant screams of: “IIINNNUUYAAAASHHAAA!!!” and “KKAAAAGOOOMEEEE

I really like FMA too.... my manga/anime consumption has decreased a lot cuz I don’t have the extra money to buy it. But I’m going to Japan in March (for a whole fucking year!!! I AM SOOO HAPPY! IF there was a god I would say that he loved me extra much..) so I plan to fricken OD on it big time once I get there!!!
