What should I ask for for my B-day?
That's right, in a mere 8 days I will turn 15...and I have no idea what I want for gifts. I'm looking for present suggestions and party ideas...or any other random birthday-related stuff.

What am I into...oh my, such a broad question!
Clothing-wise, I'm currently sort of classic punk looking, but trying to edge my way towards a more goth and girly wardrobe (more ruffles, velvet, lace, skirts, that sot of thing). Actually if anyone could recommend a good place to get a parasol or some lovely boots that would be peachy.
My interests...the thing is, I'm sort of in a transition period right now, making it a bit hard to pinpoint where I am (especially because I may not be there in a few months) with, well, anything. I apologize for this being so open and all..but just any random things you would like to have, think are cool and would make a good present...

Fabric paint, and some blank T-shirts. Then go wild! Or any fabric to make patches and what not that you want.

Ask for a sewing machine, no matter what you are into a sewing machine is always helpful, even if you end up using it mostly for repairs and minor alterations.

I dont know about Luxembourg but she wont have much use for a car untill her 16th birthday, unless she wants to go to jail every time she gets pulled over for a year.

Well yeah, but then you have a car teasing you for a year, which is even worse.

A mate of mine has a car and he's failed his driving license 6 times now. Which kinda sucks for him.

Ooooh, I do like the sewing machine idea! I would love a car but my parents are cheeeeap, they have never given me anything worth more than $200 dollars......and it would be pretty bad to have it and not be able to use it, .......although there's only a year left now! (before I can get my permit anyway)

Or to school.
Or to work to pay for school and more books.
Or to the coffeehouse where there's a poetry reading.
Or to a political conference.

Yes, a car would be GREAT. But I still can't drive. Nor do I have anything vaguely resembling the money for one.......

Well, I do not have any ideas for actual things to put on, only how to put it into perspective to show friends and relatives how modest your wishes actually are.
Last Christmas, I (gave you my... no, dammit, argh >_<) mademy wishlist in a sorted order of wishsize. So at the top of my list, I had:
World peace
A cheap and effective cure against Cancer
A cheap and effective cure against AIDS
Powerful new pc
Expensive TV
Playstation 3
Actual wishes

Ask for a turntable. I'm so pissed mine was destroyed when I totalled my car, and I miss the record player more than the car.

Right, but you're foolish if you don't save up now.
Do you think when you're old enough to drive you'll suddenly have the money in your bank account?

Perhaps her parents are planning to help her get a car loan so that she may not only get a car but start building her credit once she is old enough to drive? Or perhaps she doesn't really need a car? I don't know I didn't have nor did I really want my own car when I turned 16, my family had ones I could borrow if I really needed but I hardly ever did.

I would ask for money towards a car, but I'm sort of asking for money towards going to France in junior year instead.....I can always borrow my parents car when I learn to drive. Although my mom doesn't want me to drive until I'm 18 anyway D:
I have a turntable but it's total shit and a better one would be nice......

I think you should get what all 15 year-olds get on their birthday.
A birthday spanking!
