Needing a walking cane.
Hello there! I'm looking for something quite specific. I want a walking cane and I have found a few that I like pretty good but I have this little dream of getting one with the thing you hold on being a sort of claw, dragon / bird etc doesnt mather that much. Just its a claw. Which then holds a round ball which would be the thing you hold on. Prefereably the claw should be silver and the shaft black, but I'm negotiable :P
It should be in good quality, I'll pay up to around $400. So if you know where I could find one it would be fantastic

I would try making one if possible, but it's probably not that possible.

That looks pretty cool... Its pewter and not silver though... I'd like a better quality if able. I'm going to walk with it for years after all so I dont want the handle breaking. Do you know what the shaft is made of by the way? Aluminium, wood, plastic,?

For real, a normal bog-standard cane will look better than one with fucking skulls on and shit.

I don't know, I've seen people sell them in Camden and I always thought they looked pretty cool. They don't look uber cheap and nasty any way, the canes are made of wood, just got to read the product description.
Alchemy Gothic keeps coming up again and again on google when I type in "Gothic Walking Canes" so...go with that or find someone who can do one custom.

If you are searching for top-quality sterling silver handled cane, then I reccomend this proprietor: http://www.classicluggage.com/sterli...canes_by_s.htm
There does appear to be a claw styled handle offered, as well as many other interesting designs.
I warn you, however, these canes are by no means inexpensive, so if money is an object for you, I would reccomend that you find more affordable examples. A lower grade model would also serve the purposes of minimizing the potential for theft. Personally, I make do with an old, slightly battered but still quite servicable Victorian silver-handled ebony cane I found at a flea market for $40 two or three years ago.
Good luck.

Oh, what a find! I congratulate you, even if it may be only on your good luck.
