I'm getting really tired of being the only goth in my county. I'm not even talking in terms of 'real goth', either. At this point, I would welcome a few of those angst-ridden twelve year olds shopping at HotTopic. Honestly, I think it would throw some flavor into this town.

I'm also sick of watching all my friends slowly move away from me. I went from last year having at least ten people I hung out with daily, to having two friends that every now and again will invite me some place. It's really depressing. I noticed a few weeks ago that it's always me initiating contact with me. It's always me asking them if they want to chill with me. I guess I'm just starting to get the point that they really don't enjoy hanging out with me, because if I don't start something they'll just do their own thing and never invite me.

That's actually exactly what I meant.

I guess I maybe made it unclear, but I was trying to let everybody know I wasn't one of those tards who refer to all other goths as 'posers' or whatever. I don't fall in with the 'real goth' stuff. It's kind of silly.

As for Duckman, my friends aren't goth in the slightest bit; I'm not looking for goth friends, more just bitching about how I would like to see some more around my area.

I don't specifically want goth friends. I want more around simply because I feel lonely being the only one. Should a new goth spring up, I happen to meet him/her, and we become friends, that's awesome, but it's not like I'm gonna go around, "Hey, I noticed you're gothic. You could always check up on some social network sites and look for friends in your area. That's what I did when I got utterly bored of the current clientele.

Well, this is an internet forum where strangers gather to scrawl cyber graffiti on the cathode ray (okay, LCD) walls. If you truly were that hurt by my post, you're seeking help in the wrong place.

My point was that your original post was needy in a way I cannot express, and defines a person who is either in need of much better help than anyone here is qualified to give or someone who needs to get a grip and solve the apparent problem at hand logically. Either way, this thread is a waste of space and hence electricity. It's not the first or even the hundredth thread to be called out so and won't be the last. I don't speak for anyone else, but I do call 'em as I see 'em.
