So, I'm really bored and having nothing to do I thought I would rejoin Gnet yet again, as I have a new email address and can't remember my old password.

Anyway, my name is Maxim after the character Maxim de Winter in Alfred Hitchcock's film Rebecca. I was born in Melbourne, Australia and currently live in Melbourne, Australia. However, I lived in the States for eight years and also Adelaide for three.

I just turned seventeen on the 27th of October and am currently preparing for my year eleven exams with my only primary concern being doing well in History of Revolutions, which is the year twelve class I'm taking. After getting out of the depressing school I'm in right now I plan on either studying Forensics or Anthropology.

I spend my time reading, painting (both acrylic and watercolour), drawing, making clothes (mostly t-shirts, patches, etc.), and listening to music. My favourite authors would have to be Phillip Pullman, Bram Stoker, Lovecraft and Oscar Wilde. As for films, I enjoy those of the horror/psychological and thriller type with my favorite undoubtedly being the silent film 'Cabinet of Dr. Caligari". In regard to my other hobbies, I've been attempting to teach myself guitar throughout the year but have unfortunately been putting off practice far too much, perhaps over the summer I will finally put more effort in.

I don't plan on getting married in the traditional sense so the question proposed of, "What music do you want played at your wedding?" doesn't really have much relevance for me. The Cure's Love Song would be a nice choice however, and for my funeral I have no idea.

In regard towards how I'd prefer to die, I'd have to say that drowning in my sleep would be preferable. Imagine it, you're brain would only register the lack of oxygen at the last moment and when you awake you wouldn't feel pain. After which they can cremate my body and throw the ashes out to sea.

My favourite outfit, well. I'd have to say that it really depends on what sort of mood I'm in on the given day. Usually however, its either one of my Cinema Strange shirts, grey or black skinny jeans, knee high black converse or doc martins, either my favorite red scarf or one of my diy'd denim vests and arm warmers if its cold.

The music I listen to includes but is not limited to, Darkwave, Dark Cabaret, Deathrock, Death Metal, Black Metal, Gothic Rock, Post-Punk, Horror Punk and Depressive Rock(lots of d's there). With my favorite bands from the different genres being, Diary of Dreams, Johnny Hollow, Cinema Strange/Christian Death, Death, Emperor, Bauhaus, The Chameleons, 45 Grave and Exiled from the Light.

I initially joined to broaden my music library, however now I've decided to be more active for inspiration for future art/clothes projects.

I will most likely do both as generally you can't do pure anthropology and forensics interests me also.

They started gorgrind, and only went to a more death metal sound in their later works. (I.E. Heartwork and Swansong)

Just saying, they've been a favorite of mine for a while now.

Borgir sucks, as does Morbid Angel. Carcass, as SOD said, are fucking Gods. Easily twice the band Death was.

You can study Forensics, the Masters in Anthropology or you can have training in anthropology, depending on the system that runs in Australia.

Forensics is far from boring =P It`s really awesome so far, lots of science, chemistry and cell biology... Being a nerd I get excited about that =P

My memory isn't that great, the first members while I was here anyway that I remember who were loathed were Bex/Catch and Mr. Furrysniffles (what was his real username? We just called him that because his name had something to do with rabbits and he had a sneeze fetish.)
