Hello, this is my token introduction to this forum of the Gothic Elite. So, without further ado, I give you the questionnaire from the

What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I collect art and antiquities such as tapestries, paintings and coins and sell them to the public in auctions and some even on ebay.
2. Where are you from?
I was originally living in the Greater Los Angeles area but now I moved to Illinois near Springfield.
3. Who is your favorite author?
I have quite a few, but if I had to narrow it down to one it would most likely be Frank Herbert.
4. What are your favorite films?
I am a fan of the Silver Screen. I enjoy classics such as
Casablanca and
Dark Passage. Modern movies nowadays require too much cgi and a lot less imagination, so I am an eccentric/weird when it comes to some of my tastes.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Considering I am already married, we played quite a bit of Cure and Depeche Mode, some Tears For Fears and Dead Can Dance. We danced our first dance to
One More Time by The Cure.
6. At your funeral?
Neverland by Sisters of Mercy
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I want to die a martyr.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Cherrywood with satin inlay.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Banded collared, long-sleeved shirt, black of course. An anklet trench draped from my shoulders, black of course. A paisley vest, black purple and gold, adorns the banded shirt, three buttoned and closed. Tapered, pleated, black slacks tucked into the pointed, twelve-buckled boots, flat black and polished accordingly. Touseled hair and a smile to complement.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
My Big-wheel.
11. What's your favorite band?
Enigma
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
BA in Biblical Languages
working towards PhD. in Theological Philosophy
13. Why did you join?
I am looking for something new. I have had issues reading the maniacal ravings of lunatic minds from other "Goth" sites where the "ubergoth" have to correct and slam, flame and become what they ridicule most of the time. I wish to be at peace, mingle and enjoy seeing how things have changed since I got married and have not listened to, been a part of, nor "clubbed" for many moons. I am what one could classify as "old school" goth from the days of the New Wave/Deathrock/Goth era of the mid-to-late 1980's. So, please be gentle with me if I ask odd questions regarding new music.
