Question shopping in england

hello all~

i'm a stupid american, heading across the pond to england this week. i'm going to be in london for a few days and in the hull/york area, for about a week. one thing i REALLY want to do while i'm there is pick up some boots, and some clothes might be nice too, but boots are the priority. anyone know any places i should go? especially places that would have stompy platforms?

thanks in advance

stay spooky~

We don’t have bad opinions of you guys just your politicians, corporations and the stupid. Who for some reason seem to like coming to London.
I like you, most of the people on the site I mean. So you can’t be all bad.

dunno about london but while up north try and get over to leeds. there's a shop there called soho that sells platforms and new rocks of pretty much every description. they do some nice clothes as well, though they're a bit limited in the trad department. leeds is about a half our train ride from york. if you get to leeds also check out kyro (you can see it from soho) cause they do amazinf clothes and shoes. if you're feeling really adventurous hop on a bus to wakefield (10 miles south of leeds) and go to morgana clothing because they have a lot of really good trad stuff.

they better pay me for this free advertising.
