Hello
I'm just a guy currently living in Idaho Falls, Idaho, starting school in the spring studying English. My time is generally spent painting and writing. My favorite movies are Sweeny Todd, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Corpse Bride. Favorite bands include The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, and Emilie Autumn. I'd want The Cure at my wedding and Fields of the Nephilim at my funeral, with an old-fashioned coffin. The thing I miss most about my childhood are the TV shows; Beetlejuice, Swat Kats, Dexter's Lab, etc.

Welcome to the show! And how about Batman:The Animated Series, Gargoyles, and the more obscure FOX kid's shows, like EEK! Stravaganza? It had that creepy cult of dinosaur skeleton-things.... and MIB, Ghostbusters, Evolution, Big Guy and Rusty.... the list goes on and on.... But topping them all could be Godzilla: KIng of Monsters. I don't know.... Thank you for this trip down memory lane!!

Welcome Vlh! I was also new just a few days ago. I have done some exploring which was great, everything here is just funny. I love it all! I was in a little fight with somebody (Alan in particular, look out for him), just because of a misunderstanding. So you shouldn't take the people here seriously, that's what I have learnt!
I also enjoy listening to The Cure, especially Friday I am inlove! Totally crazy!

Yeah, you don't see quality cartoons much anymore, everyone seems to assume that kids are delicate flowers and only want to see educational crap.
That reminds me, I need to track down Invader Zim and Beetlejuice The Animated series on DVD now!

Invader Zim is pretty readily available if you look online. Beetlejuice...well...let me know if you find it, i loved that show.

Emilie Autumn is excellent, I love Opheliac.
And everyone loves cartoons! Power Puff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack...all awesome. and I have Invader Zim, Gaz and Grr on DVD.

I have to find that bishie Beetlejuice picture again!
And is Invader Zim: Complete Invasion still in distribution? I can only find super expensive sets online. My dvds are all scratched up  Never lending dvds to friends ever again.

Nice intro. Yeah, they don't make cartoons like they used to.
I miss Space Ghost and The Hurculoids ... not that Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast travesty that came much more recently (even though I grudgingly admit it was funny at times). I believe Space Ghost and The Hurculoids is available now on DVD ... one of these days I'll be able to afford it.

@HumanePain I enjoy the power puff girls they are just a cracker! The sound effects make it worse and even funnier. Mojo jojo!!! Oh and of corse Dexter  He's the best scientist ever! Lol! Cartoons may seem childish, but they rock!
