Post Before And After

Just a little something I wrote before I decided to rewrite the whole thing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
He moved here two years ago, right before school started. Mark Hammond was quiet for the time he was here, but became silent months before the incident. He almost never started a conversation, and only spoke what was needed. He smiled less and less throughout his time here and never laughed towards the end.
Mark Hammond was the school emo. He wore nothing but black, and his nails were painted black. Some has his raven black hair was fake, but he claimed it was real. He had a strange taste in music, too. While everyone listened to hip-hop, rap, pop, R&B, Mark listened to scream and emo. His favorite bands were Atreyu, Hawthorne Heights, Bullet for my Valentine, Bring me the Horizon, A Day to Remember, Boys Like Girls, and other bands, or so I heard. No one but me has ever seen his eye color, because he hides them under his long, black hair.
After a month or two, he eventually faded to the corner, but once in a while he gets the spotlight, like when some girls wore nothing but black, to try to get his attention. He laughed when he saw them, and went to talk to them. After they had hung on him for a while, one of the girls –Lily, I think- pulled up his sleeve and screamed. All the other girls saw, screamed, and ran away. Mark calmly pulled his sleeve down and went to sit beneath a tree.
When the girls were asked what they saw, they said something about ugly scars, all along the inside of his arms. After a while, he had scars, a pentagram tattoo, and some other crazy things.
He was tall and muscular, but he didn’t look so. He looked small and frail, but after a bit, if you looked at him long enough, you would see certain strength about him, but he always seemed sad.
How was I supposed to know he’d actually do it?

Ok story, you could be less obvious and less descriptive then you could make this in to a story plot.

this is one way to change it...
Mark Hammond was a silent soul who kept to him self. His life had crumbled into dust within a short period of time. Before this event he was a lively teen age boy who laughed and associated with people. His hues are somber and black so as his hair, people assumed him to be an ‘emo’ but no body knows. One day at lunch he sat in his corner in the brightly colored high school cafeteria. To girls approach him with a friendly warm simile, both were garbed in black and white.
*dialogue* etc (sorry I’m to tired to type more)
Mark got comfortable but one single movement ruined it all. He lifted his sleeves from the heat and revealed his scares, two pairs of eyes bulge and then there were squeals and screams. Both girls ran away and left him alone. He felt a greater pain in his chest and hung his head low.
“What did I do wrong this time?” he asked himself.
