A guy asked me this today too. What's my political stance?
Depends on the context. That's not inconsistent or anything, I'm just talking about that "oh dude don't label yourself" bullshit. In a way it's right but has it backwards. Our identity is a multiplicity.
So what am I?
I'm a Deleuzian commie, a poststructuralist schizo-anarchist, a marxo-bolivarian with a penchant for rhizomatic cultural hegemony. I'm a militant hipster with radical feminist overtones...
and blah blah blah, you get the point. It's easier for you to ask a question about doing than being.
What do I want from the world? I can only answer that in quite vague terms because an answer can only be satisfactory with context. Still, this applies to pretty much every possible context as a rule:
I want a government whose purposes is to promote the full creative potential of every individual. The role of government, reduced to a minimum of this, does not mean military security and law, but rather economic security and the maintenance of social spaces.
I'm a sucker for Negri and Hardt. I fight against the
private, but I also don't want the triumph of the
public. I want the triumph of the
common. There difference between those is a possible topic for this later on, but if you have the time check this out

What do I want in the present? To push through the logical conclusion of globalization: The legalization of all industries (particular attention to drugs and prostitution here), further decentralization of information, and hardest of all but one of the final and most important ones, international citizenship, the freedom of movement of individuals that only capital enjoys as of today.
That's not all but it's a good start.
