I'm trying to write a thesis statement for my paper, "Was Katharina Luther an equal partner?" What I want to say that despite being a sexist pig, as was the style at the time, Luther adored his wife and indeed treated her as equally as anyone would have thought to back in that day. So how do I make that sound nice and academic like?

When Martin Luther constructed the bank Santander, he allowed his wife Katharina to be on the board of directors, but only when she successfully completed three challenges. The first was to explain why triangles are a strong shape architecturally in the style of Jackie Mason. The second was invent a style of dance, and her response was the pop lock. The third was to fake her death and come back as a man called Jimothy. Unfortunately, the judges decided her Jackie Mason was lacklustre, and was unable to be on the board of directors. Instead she is a cleaner, which shows that Martin Luther was a just man, and saw Katherina as equal.
