Shill Post your website announcements here. Anything that is blatantly SPAM (nigerian schemes, make money fast, etc) will be deleted. Actually, we'd probably keep the nigerian schemes around to make fun of it. |

Gothicana.com - your new Google!
Gothicana.com is a new Gothic / Alternative Directory and search engine which you can submit your URLs to the relevant categories. Why keep scouring Google or Yahoo! for your darkest searches? Find it easier with the search dedicated to the darker side of the net - www.gothicana.com
Please note, Gothicana needs your submissions to help us scour the internet for the best sites. Rather than use robots and spiders to crawl the internet automatically, we prefer the integrity of human submissions to keep out all the nasty internet sites full of ads and useless information. Although there are several listings on the website now, please bear with us while Gothicana grows - you'll be pleased with the results to come!!!
Darkest regards,
Odovacar
p.s. any journalists wishing to feature Gothicana, please feel free to contact me about the new site - we'd appreciate any publicity!

So that means, you find a site on Siouxsie, you give it to them. Basically, in order to make it work, you have to be the human replacement for their lack of effort/ webcrawler programming. They could just as easily 'scour' google the same as the rest of us.
The potential to be rid of Manson-esque sites and every damn babybats personal AOL account is nice, but then I'm letting them do my editing for me, which I don't dig. Google works pretty well, and for all else that might be hidden... there's the community of gothic.net, alt.gothic, and other great places. =)

There is a Google search based on Gothicana if you can't find what you're looking for on our directory. You can find it here: http://google.gothicana.com

I like her, it's fun to watch the dumb bitch at work.
Except for the blatant attempt to capitalize on my joke, you piece of poseur shit. Is originality over the fucking INTERNET that hard? Maybe for someone with the mental capacity of a four year old with glue addiction. It's not like you couldn't just think of something entirely lame yourself or better yet, search for something funny online and incorporate it into your post, but you're so blindly fucking unoriginal that, out of all the elements of humor on the WORLD FUCKING WIDE WEB, you are limited to looking at the post RIGHT ABOVE yours in order to perform a pathetic fucking attempt at being funny. I'll bet that's how you got your name too, picking the word 'goth' because of course, it's a GOTH website, and choosing Avril Lavigne's hair color because as you've stated before she's SO FUCKING GOOOOTH, because singing inane bullshit about how being rich and white sucks is RRREEEEAAALLL GGOOOOTHHH.
DIE, YOU IGNORANT PIECE OF UNORIGINAL PRETENTIOUS SHIT.

O.o
I go into the clothing category, then the shoe category, what do I get?
NOTHING. Needs some work. I'm too lazy to upload my favorites list to that thing.

Hmmmm. If I search for goth sites I like, and then find them, why do I need a search engine?

So you can find new sites that other people use. >.< Which doesn't work with a lame ass engine like this that's brand new and nobody has added to yet.

I think this site needs a little work. Might want to check it out before advertising it on here.

I'm the type of person who likes to throw serious wrenches in works like this. I have a very mischievous streak in me that builds up to overflow sometimes, and I just have to commence with some complicated act of low-level evil.
(...but I won't mess with this one -- er, for now, I promise!!*)
I usually take it out on the "singles match-up" companies. I'll take that annoying little survey I receive in the mail to Kinko's, and make about a bajillion copies (OK,... maybe more like 50-100). Then I fill them out (different info on each) and stamp them all on one of those days I really feel like fucking up a system, and keep them in my bag. Everywhere I go, I'll drop one in the blue mailboxes and imagine the carnage.
It may do a lot, or it may do absolutely nothing, but it akes me feel better, and burns off some of that "gotta be bad" feeling.
*Promise is only good for 7-10 days.

You could make something like this work better with a swicki or google coop. I personally prefer swickis, more engaging than google products generally speaking.

I just searched for Fields of the Nephilim but nothing came up. I thought new pictures or info might come up, rather than trying google all the time.
