Hello world, I am Paul.
Hi. My name is Paul and I'm 17. I'm probably not as goth as you.
But I guess you could say I was goth enough to not care in the slightest if you think I am Goth or not. I don't dress up like I'm out to hunt Werewolves and my hair is a nice shade of brown. However, I guess you could say I was a closet gothic romantic with a penchant for things dark. I write poetry that's not abot myself or the "dark spiralling void of my soul" (whining in verses is still whining so can it). And I like milk and cookies.
So, some Q&A:
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Well, I start my first job tomorrow actually. Working behind the counter of a photo development store. Sounds like a blast. Other than that, I do art/poetry/filmmaking/photography/sleep/wank/eat and other things that people do.
2. Where are you from?
Plymouth, UK
3. Who is your favorite author?
George Orwell, though there are many others.
4. What are your favorite films?
I hav a lot of films I love. The Matrix, James Bond, Star Wars, Back to the Future, most of Tim Burton's work and a chunk of Asian cinema and Anime.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
R_ape Me by Nirvana.
6. At your funeral?
I'm Still Standing by Elton John
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
In slow motion.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
One with broadband.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Black converse (that's gonna get me some flames), dark blue jeans, a black tshirt and a brown miltary jacket with a hood.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Watching Seasme Street on the living room floor with a bowl of cerial at noon.
11. What's your favorite band?
Ash, Coldplay, Muse, Bach, Danny Elfmann, The Blues Brothers, Frank Sinatra, Dragonforce (there's a mix of tastes for you).
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm at Sixth Form (college more or less) and about to start my second year.
13. Why did you join?
Had nothing better to do and I wanted to see what Goths thought about my poetry, as it is a bit goth-esque.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Male.
There you have it. You now know the basic facts about someone you'll likely never meet and will forget about in half an hour.
Adieu.

I like you. I also have a thing for Frank Sinatra, although I prefer Dean Martin.

Actually, if you read For the Newbies! Yes, that means you! thread, you'll see that you're the gothiest goth on the planet.
And if you like it here and stick around for a while, you'll see that most people here avoid to label themselves as anything.
Welcome. I liked your answers. I hope you enjoy it here.

Some of you mentioned about wanting to see my poetry. You can very well do so here.
Also, thank you to all who have given warm welcomes and nice replies. It's nice to know that there is at least one forum on the internet that doesn't have to be 1337 45 PH|_|C or full of "**** victims". Although I have seen one or two in the dark recesses (well, dark est) of this site, I hope I may be spared the pleasure of being caught up in one of those intelligent and well spoken discussions.
Anywho, thank you to all and, until next we meet, Goodbye.
