Danny Phantom
Danny Phantom is a really cool cartoon on Nick.
Its a about a 14 year old boy named Danny Fenton whos half-human, half-ghost. Thanks to and a mishap with the Fenton Ghost Portal, a gateway built by his ghost hunting parents Jack and Maddie to bridge the human and ghost worlds, Danny was infused with spectral energy, giving him ghostly superpowers. With his best friends Tucker Foley (socially clumsy techno-geek) and Samantha "Sam" Manson (free-thinking Goth gal), Danny must prevent evil spirits from the Ghost Zone from coming through the portal and terrorizing their hometown of Amity Park.

Haha, one of the newer cartoons that actually isn't horrible. When that show first came out I remember thinking "Oh God, what's wrong with Nickelodean??" but it's actually a fun show to watch when I'm home sick, or just needing something to do. I still think Nick needs to bring back all of their old 90's cartoons that I love so much, like The Angry Beavers, and Doug, and the original Rugrats which I don't like so much anymore, but all the kids are watching the "All Grown Up" series an they don't even know where it all came from, it's horrible. Back on-topic here though, haha, I love Danny Phantom.

It's actually not bad to watch. I watch it sometimes with my kid brother. I just get looped into it. I like it.

That was a really funny show (Daggett being the favourite of course ), not sure about America but I think it's still on Nickolodeon sometimes, if you have cable TV that is.

Since we're on the subject of cartoons ( I love 'em), anyone see Metalocalypse? It's a little off topic being a cartoon network/adult swim show and all, but I downloaded it last night and it's one of the funniest things I've seen in awhile. Especially if you like "violent, violent murder" and metal music. I don't stick to any particualr genre of music, so I enjoyed it myself, even though I thought it was going to be horrible when I say an ad online for it a few weeks back.

I miss The Angry Beavers, Ah Real Monsters grossed me out when I was little *still hates gross humor*, Rugrats ruled! Danny Phantom though, that is now one of the best cartoons on right now besides Teen Titans!

Yeah, I manage to catch it on other Nick channels occassionally, but not very often. They need to release an Angry Beavers DVD... *sniffle* I miss Daggett!!!

I love cartoons. They are the only shows of value on television. Danny Phantom rules, so does the fairly odd parents. Nick should release DVD sets of all thier lineup so I can download them all. HAHA. It couldn't be that big of a risk. Just look at how popular they've made Zim with the DVD release.

Danny Phantom is ok, IMO. Not great, but not bad either. Some episodes are sort of cool, but some fall short.

I´ve tried to watch Danny Phantom for more than 2 comercials...but I just can´t...I sense that the plots/development are somehow...slow?...maybe more like predictable =S...The Angry Beavers are just the best, same with "AH! Monsters"...and what about "Rocko´s Modern Life"? XD....
CArtoon Networks has this "new" Adult Swim thing which is also very good.

I like the romantic entanglement of Danny and Sam. So much angst. Danny is so clueless (beats head against desk). He should just kiss her WITHOUT the Fakeout-Makeout!

HumanePain, you officially rock. You're the only 50 year-old I know who'd watch Danny Phantom, haha. Except maybe if I had a 50 year-old version of my grandpa, he'd probably watch cartoons, he still does now sometimes. But he's not 50, so he doesn't count.
Yeah, Celestia, the plot is always pretty slow and predictable with DP, but sometimes I like that about it. Normally predictable and I don't mesh well, it annoys me when I know what's going to happen and I haven't even seen the episode/movie/whatever before.

I miss the other Nick shows too, stuff like "Hey Dude" and "Salute Your Shorts". Nick has really gone downhill, I shudder to think of how these kids nowadays are growing up.

Humane, I definitely agree. I've been rooting for Sam and Danny forever! No one I know personally like it though -tear-.
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is good too. And I miss Zim. Some of the new shows make me cry though. What is happening to humanity? They are just so terrible...
