Invader Zim
I like cartoons. I think it takes a lot of skill and artistic ability to put together a good one. When I first discovered Invader Zim, I was extremly impressed by how good it looked. Now that I've seen almost all the episodes, I have to say it's one of the best put together American cartoons I've ever viewed. I know it's a bit of a Hot Topic cliche to like this show, but speaking from a purely artistic level, I'm a huge fan.

Yep Invader Zim rocks. o_O the amount of work people put into the drawings and then the viewers don't even think about it. They think it's easy.

"They Gotz Waffles in 'em!"
Invader Zim is always a special treat for me because I don't have cable or satelite or whatever ^.^ There's a great song that I downloaded from newgrounds called "Zim vs Spongebob". It's really quite amuzing ^.^
Zim-"Are you sure you don't want to look at Postulio?"
Spongebob-"Hey... maybe later."
Spongebob reminds me of a substitute teacher at my highschool who calls himself the "whatever" hand jesture and throws confetti at our class. He kinda dresses and talks like him, too... 0.o

Really? I don't have cable either, 'cause my parents can be cheap bastards. I like to rent Invader Zim DVDs, they usually have 20 episodes on each. I'm surprised I've never met a teacher as horrible as Ms. Grimm. It really shows how blind people are. Dib has tried so hard to convince everyone that Zim is an alien, but they're all too stupid. Sounds like the people in my classes. I find that so funny.
But the fact that all the stupid people at my school wear Invader Zim shirts, I dunno. Oh well, no matter, I can't resist quirky toons such as Zim.

No no, it wasn't a jab at you, it was at the ignorant masses. Most of them are too dumb to post on forums. I was simply extrapolating on something you pointed out.

If it is as good as it's drawn, then , by all means, it must be awesome.

Gir: "Aw! You're too smart for me! Keif was planning a party for you because he loves you! HE LOVES YOU! THAT KID LOVES YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!"
Gir is my favorite nickelodeon character.
I also adore that morbid-looking kid, Keif. Everyone around him was so frickin' ignorant.
Awesomely animated cartoon.
My science teacher allows people to come into his class every year on the last day of school to watch Invader Zim DVDs. Awesomness!

Johnny the Homicidal Maniac is a really good comic, so far ((I've only read up to number 4 or 5)). I love Johnen's humor, nice sadistic humor... I love it ^___^.
Invader Zim is a little childish, but funny none-the-less... I really like Gaz, Tak, and Gir. Brilliant characters ^___^. I also love Jhonen's art, fantastic, it has a certain style to it that is original... Only Jhonen's ^____^.
I'd love to buy some Johnny the Homicidal Maniac merchandise, or some Invader Zim merchandise... but no-where here sells them *sigh*
Does anyone have a list of Johnen's works? The only two I know of are Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Invader Zim...

Okay, Point A:
Let me introduce you to one of the COOLEST stores in the World!!
http://www.tfaw.com/
Pretty much any graphic novel, figurine, collectible, poster, T-shirt or Manga you can think of, they have it.
I am uber blessed that they are just a few blocks from my house, and so is Dark Horse( ) but unlike many stores, their online shop is very well done and they made it super easy to search and purchase from the site.
Ebay also has a HUGE amount of JTHM merchandise:
http://search.ebay.com/Johnny-the-Ho...QfsopZ1QQftsZ1
And other Jhonen Vasquez merchandise:
http://search.ebay.com/search/search...trypage=search
This is his official website: http://questionsleep.com/ but it is still under construction.
Point B:
This is a link to a page that lists all of his books and comics:
http://www.bookslut.com/comicbookslu..._10_000322.php
I HIGHLY reccommend Squee and I Feel Sick!!
You can order most of his comics and graphic novels through his publisher; Slave Labor Graphics:
http://store.slavelabor.com/Jhonen_V...omics.shtml#69
Last but not least, if you dig Jhonen's writing, check out Roman Dirge.
He is every bit as creepy and wonderful as Jhonen.
One of my favorites from him is the Lenore series..
Phew..
Okay, go forth and traumatize!!

LOL, Jhonen, i remember when i was first introduced to his work, the chick that introduced me to his comics said i reminded her of NNY except for the killing of people to keep a fresh coat of blood on it. Invader Zim was hilarious and gir was so funny...DAMN U RIKKI SIMMONS for making his voice so incredibly kool! Anyways, the series was awesome, i just wished they'd of made more episodes....You know what would kick ass, if they made a JTHM animated series!!!!!

Seven words: "Why is there bacon in the soap!?"
My brother introduced me to Zim when I was in ... grade ten, I guess. Yeah, grade ten. He got me a videotape filled with episodes ripped from the 'Net, and I loved them. But it wasn't until he bought the three seasons on DVD that I got to see all the episodes. "Zim Eats Waffles" is possibly the greatest episode for an animated series I've ever seen.
