SexGang Children
I'm a huge fan of the SexGang Children. I figured I'd post a thread about them see as there were none already. I'd have to say my favorite songs by them are 'Beasts', 'Sebastian', and 'Guy Wonder'. So go a head and post away about this amazing Deathrock/Batcave band.

I was only ever able to find two SGC t-shirts and they were white. Yeah I know so what? But I'd rather they were black.

Andi's been doing a lot of solo work over the years, but the band is still around and doing a few shows here and there.

I think the reason this thread is so short is just because no one can dispute their awesomeness. Everyone just says "Yeah, I love them", and that's that.
I'm just sad now that the official SGC website hasn't been updated since I last went there in October. IWANTANAUSTRALIANTOURGODDAMNIT!

Well, I'll add some spice to the thread.
I will not dispute their grandeur; I love theirs songs, especially Arms of Cicero and Sebastiane. But some other songs by them I find extremely annoying, especially three of them whose names I can't recall that all sound the same to me.
Anyways, quick fact:
Did you know that the word 'goth' was first used for a group of people referring to Sex Gang Children's fans?

Yes. It was actually Ian Astbury(Southern/Death Cult) who used it in that sence.

I used the quote from Ian Astbury on the word 'goth' in my Oral Presentation for English class. It was on the history of gothic rock, and since my teacher was highly involved in the scene back in the 80's I got rather a good grade on it, haha.
The whole story (which you probably all know) is that Andi used to live in the Visigoth Towers in Brixton, London, and invited people to his flat to listen to all sorts of macabre music, and he dressed like a Banshees fan (aka a goth). So he became known as the Gothic Goblin, and his followers were goths.

I want any still touring Goth band to do an Aus tour. BUT THEY WON'T BECAUSE IT COSTS TOO MUCH AND THEY DON'T HAVE THE AUDIENCE HERE.
