Who Is This Cicero?
It's re-introduction time. And as everyone else did, I will state my reasons:
1. A majority of regular posters here seem to be fairly new, and so many probably didn't see my first introduction.
2. My first introduction freakin'-diddly-sucked.
3. I feel like it. And it's my birthday today. Yay.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I go to school/college, I sew shitloads of clothes, I play solitaire way too much, I travel whenever I have the time and money, and I hang around on this lovely website.
2. Where are you from?
My parents are of Scottish descent, I was born in Melbourne, Australia, but after years of living all around South East Asia, I now reside in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Oscar Wilde and Chuck Palahniuk.
4. What are your favorite films?
Party Monster is my all time favourite, followed by Fight Club, Interview with the Vampire, the Crow, BBC's Pride and Prejudice, Lord of the Rings, all the Monty Python movies, and V for Vendetta.
I'll also add my favourite TV shows, since I often enjoy these more than movies: The Young Ones, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Six Feet Under, House MD, and I'll throw Nip/Tuck in there as well.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Basileus by Corvus Corax. I think I said that in my last intro thread, too... It's just so danceable.
6. At your funeral?
The Great, Bloody and Bruised Veil of This World by Current 93.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Peacefully and after a very long life, with my favourite cat in my arms.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
No casket necessary, just throw me into the ocean for the sharkies and fishies.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My layered blue satin and black lace skirt, layers of black and purple shredded tights on my arms with a plain black tanktop underneath, and to cover the mess my purple Victorian corset. Throw a few ostrich feathers in my hair, or maybe just cover up the old skull-and-brain with a 100-year-old top hat. Toss a number of Egyptian amulets round my neck, eight rings on my fingers, and my buckle-up knee high boots on my feet to complete the ensemble. And if I'm outside hand me my black lace Necromance parasol.
Damn... that was lengthy.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
My constant energy and creativity.
11. What's your favorite band?
I've got more than you can shake a stick at! (Whatever that means). Lets see... Old AFI (okay I admit it, I like new AFI, too... but quite honestly I still don't see the 'emo-ness' everyone else has detected in recent years), Current 93, Placebo, Rozz Williams and Christian Death, Sex Gang Children, Dead Can Dance, 45 Grave, Type O Negative, Cinema Strange, just about all old school goth rock with the exception of Bauhaus (*shockhorror!*), and every last deathrock, darkwave, batcave and horrorpunk band you can name - even if I haven't heard of it, I'll probably like it.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm done with normal highschool, and am now doing a pre-university course at Monash in order to be accepted into the Monash School of Medicine. I plan to be a surgeon.
13. Why did you join?
I vaguely remember finding the link here somewhere on the Gothic Charm School website. When I saw the sorts of things going on, I thought I'd better join the fun.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female

Feliz Cumpleaños!
Joyeux Anniversaire!
O-tanjoubi o-medeto!
Buon Cumpleanno!
and Happy Birthday!!
(I basically said the same thing five times, once each in Spanish, French, Japanese, Italian, and English... Good things are best given in fives!)
Hope it's a good one!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, I wasn't expecting it to be so honoured And yay! Cake! I can't decide between Disorder and Jillian's, so we'll have to take both.
And damnit Rose! You know perfectly well that we're BOTH Mad Hatter #1 .
Edit: And BlackButterfly beat me with yet another cake! Excellent.
