Introducing....

Good evening. I just joined the forum and thought I'd introduce myself.

Damn, I'm not very good at these things. Well, I'm obviously a person fascinated by the dark side of the world. I love vampires and ninjas and other creatures of the night. I'm interested in history, languages, mysteries, the occult, secret societies, magick, the Other Side... That kinda stuff. Music is also very important to me. Very. I listen to metal, mostly death and black.

Yeah. That's all I can think of now. So umm, looking forward to finding out more about this place etc

[Btw Geck-o, if you see this: I mentioned you as my referrer ]

Well, I love symphonic black metal like early Thyrane and some Dimmu Borgir. And melodic death metal, like my favorite band Insomnium. These of course aren't the only genres I listen to, but recently I've noticed that's what my playlist mostly consists of

The ninja thing made me laugh.

Welcome to G.net! If you wish, there are questions you can answer that are presented in the Introductory thread. These will help us know you a little better.

Humm, I only like a few Black metal bands and they are the earlier ones: Burzum, Immortal, Emperor, Bathory. Although I don't like Black metal or death metal that much in the first place. Bring on the Goth rock, Deathrock, Darkwave and Industrial. =P

Black metal (when done correctly) is the best thing to hit metal.

I'll take bands like Bethlehem, Ahab, Immortal, Rooting Christ, Emperor, and Old Man's Child over pretty much any music thats been made in the past 9 years.

Oh yes, I do like Immortal too. And I did listen to a bit of Old Man's Child but due to a little hard drive accident, I don't have it anymore.

Oh, I missed that. So:

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job) I have a night job. I won't go into details but yes, I only work nights and sleep during daytime. That's how much of a vampire I am

2. Where are you from? Gothamburg

3. Who is your favorite author? Terry Pratchett. Not very goth I know, but the guy's a fricking genious.

4. What are your favorite films? Gah, I hate this question. I have so many favorite movies... I don't feel like making a list now.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding? Umm, I don't really care. If I ever do get married, it'll be really short and casual anyway.

6. At your funeral? Insomnium.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? I want to be shot by a firearm.

8. What kind of casket would you want? No casket, just throw my corpse in a forest somewhere.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? The kind that involves a lot of black leather.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? Not having to go to work. Or do anything for a living.

11. What's your favorite band? Insomnium.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major? I kinda quit school

13. Why did you join? Becuz Im liek so goth lol. Seriously, I just like the dark stuff.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender? Female.

Hello and a warm welcome. Ahh I love Emperor and Old Man's Child. In defiance of existence is, to me, such an awesome album...
