I have a huge crush on her 0_0
She will never, ever know.
But also: when she was born, her head was so big that she was put in the top percentile for baby head size. It's totally normal now, though, so don't be afraid =)

In college best friend #1 used to get stoned, eat mushrooms and drop acid, and now he is an ordained minister! Recently he perfomed the wedding ceremony for another old (mutual) friend (best friend #3 below), and next year will be performing the wedding ceremony for my daughter and her fiance.
I actually have 3 best friends, so here are the other two's quirks as well:
best friend 2: he collect bras of celebrities. He has paid up to $1500 for one of them.
(and no, he doesn't own any that were Madonna's...yet).
best friend 3: he has played keyboards for Maria Muldaur, and the bassist for the Grateful Dead, Phil Lesh.

Um, my best friend is obsessed with metal. Like I really, really mean obsessed. He loves all metal bands and can name every interesting fact about every band he loves. He's had a crush on me since 1st grade. And now we're in 9th. He's cool.

My male best friend is a really good artist, he refuses to admit it, he recently threw away or burned a bunch of stuff I would have kept!
He can draw his own personal entertainment *cough*, you guys know what I mean. Another friend learned that at a party while playing Truth or Dare, she told her uber-perverted friends and for a while they worshipped him.

My best friend is on this forum, and she is the coolest girl I've ever met. I am her first (and unconditionally only) boyfriend. She loves me unconditionally, and we will definitely remain best friends even if the bf/gf thing doesn't work out. We met on an asexuality forum, so sex is definitely out of this relationship!  What more could I ask for?
She also hates having ice in drinks. And she is a great artist.

Good for you guys! So many people think that relationships between men & women are ONLY about the sex. I'm A too, and it's really incredibly difficult to make friends with people & get into relationships when the thing top in their mind is fucking everything that moves. My heart always warms when I hear about asexual couples.
And bearing that commentary in mind, the interesting thing about my best friend is that... she's sex obsessed.  I just nod and smile when she starts discussing what she did the night-before-last with her ex-BF, then when she's through ranting and boasting, I remind her that I think she should be rid of the loser, for her own sake (emotionally) and mine (for my sanity, lol)

As a gypsy of the eternal suburbs, I've traveled far too much for far too many years to have a best friend. If I ever had one, I can't remember him/her , and I have undoubtedly left him/her behind...

I love the word gypsy...
My male best friend is a gypsy groupie, the proper, PC word for gypsy is Romanie, so he's a Romanie groupie, there's a word for that, that I always forget.
