hello people.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm a graphic designer. One of my hobbies is creating my own handmade visual journals where i do my first drafts or write just anything that comes to mind. I also enjoy digital photography and digital art. At other times I go and read in the park.
2. Where are you from?
I come from a country in the middle east known as Lebanon. A country that's always had war in its past, yet it is beautiful and filled with the treasures of the past civilizations. 3 months ago I moved from Lebanon, and traveled to Australia...a totally different country with a different culture. I decided to do so because of the situation in Lebanon. There was a war going on and the economy was down and therefore there was no work...it was more of a holiday. Despite the bombings, I think it was still fun, and i've had good times with my friends at that period. Now it's time to move on and embrace the new life I chose...I think of it as a new destination. One day I may return home.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Gibran Khalil Gibran, enjoy Edgar Allan Poe, Anne Rice, Arthur Conan doyle, William Blake, Aleister Crowley etc...
4. What are your favorite films?
Bram Stoker's Dracula, Citizen Kane, Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, Psycho, A series of unfortunate events, Harry Potter Series, The Wall, Interview with the Vampire, Pi etc...
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Tchaikovsky.
6. At your funeral?
dead can dance.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I want to die in my own land, in the earth of my country.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Whatever i find suitable, depending on the occasion.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I miss the days when time was slow.
11. What's your favorite band?
Type o negative, theatre of tragedy, after forever, current93, lacuna coil, lacrimas profundere, 3rd and the mortal, dead can dance, bauhaus, syd barret, pink floyd, opeth, moonspell, my dying bride etc...
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm a BA graduate in graphic design.
13. Why did you join?
I'm interested in Gothic subculture, would like to have intellectual conversations on art and philosophy, as well as share thoughts and ideas with likeminded people.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm male. =)

*Wheezes and croaks inaudibly at the sheer unlikeliness of achieving this goal here*

How come I didn't score a "Hmmm welcome?". *sniff*
I know. It was that lousy Playstation ad. Yeah, that's it. It made my intro go unnoticed. Everybody loves me. I'm going to my happy place...

I have never seen the movie, but I have a song from Requiem for a Dream. Absolutely beautiful.

Welcome Conundrum, your answers are better than your name, a reminder for us all not to judge a book by its cover.
And everybody else: Morrigan was just joking around. (hands Morrigan a Madarin Orange of Melancholy, while slipping on the Banana Peel of Bravado)
