Merry Meet
so, what would you like to know?
i live on ye olde isle of man, a small isle that floats about in the irish sea and is riddened with heritage and deep, dark forests.
not much goes on where i live and the only music gigs i can haunt are within the manx metal genre (or so-called). apparently mc-fly are making a flying visit in the summer, but really, who wants to pay good money for there ears to bleed?
A few boring bits and bobs from little old me
Q.how tall are you barefoot?
A. hobbit sized, pint sized, you got it, i'm a midget in a bath robe!
Q.what do you look like?
A. as i've already mentioned, i'm short. apart from that, i have long black dreads, a few piericings, 2 tattoos, small build with stupidly bright eyes, i look like a bush baby in disguise.
Q.interests?
A. photography, i love photography. the isle of man is fuckin great for it with it's old and forgotten graveyards, celtic crosses and ancient burials. developing in black and white is best though.
I design tattoos, play guitar, read a lot, drink on occassion and can often be found attempting to bash the crap out of a drum kit.
Q. favorite authors?
A. anne rice, robert rankin, terry pratchet, stephen king and james herbert. only the cream of the crop i assure.
Q.music?
A. apocalyptica, type o negative, sisters of mercy, depeche mode, white zombie, kittie, celtic frost. argh, too many to mention, but you get the general jist. i'll listen to many a genre classical, gothic, industrial, classic rock, old 80s stuff. as long as it's not rap or emo shit like 'my chemical romance'.
Q. how do you want to be buried?
A. face down, then everyone can kiss my ass.
Q. more to the point, how do you want to die?
A. either peacefully or fucking, whilst having a smoke in a really big victorian style bath.
Q. favorite places to travel?
A. norway, ireland and holland.
Q. anything else you'd like to add?
A. i suppose, i'm into holistic therapies, i don't have a qualification in any but i do practice many on myself and my other half (bennett).
i don't like vampirefreaks, it really hacks me off, there's too many emos fighting to be the top of the rating scale and nobody is interested in meeting new people.
i watch far too many horror films, one day they are going to fuck my head up.
i'm usually a delightful person to meet (big grin) but i have a fuming temper when i want.
i love drinking hobgoblin and mead. i love gothic nightclubs, i hate the ministry of sound style clubs, i feel dirty being in them with all the sleazy womanizers in there.
i am 20, i have a son called Raign, partner called bennett and a rat called spikey.
bye for now, can't be assed typing any longer.
again, greetings to all and may this night time be magical.

You've won me over. After reading that I had this deep urge to visit such a place!
By the way, Depeche Mode rocks my buttocks.
Oh! And welcome to the boards

I like your questions better-- and I even wrote most of the originals!

Hello, I like the innovative way of answering the questions. I just ask you to capitalize your I's.

Welcome. Isn't the Isle of Man where tail-less Manx cats come from?
Love the way you describe the old graveyards there, I will have to visit it someday.
Again, welcome.

Having done a search on "photography" I have seen nothing come up about it that is specific to photography, but there is a DeviantArt thread on here.

There's an Art Thread, if you don't mind being a bit generic.

Hi, I used to live in Douglass in the Isle of Man for a year and a half with my dad. It a nice island. I didn't see many cemeteries though, in fact, I don't think I saw any. But I don't think I was really paying attention to that when I was there.

Next time turn on your goth senses. Then you'll be able to pick out a speck of black in a haystack!
