Comment on my DIY

[Temptation]

Ok, I didn't exactly start it yet, sorry If the title may have been misleading.
I just want some comments on my idea and weither or not its any good, maybe a way to improve it.

Well onto the idea.

The idea is a either gonna be a short sleeve cotton or velvety shirt. I'm planning on adding sleeves of probably silk, or a material similar onto the end, to make the sleeves longer. When, I get a little bit before the wrists I'm planning on stoping. I'm gonna make like triangle shapes on the end, and maybe have it so the sleeve itself kinda drapes down. I was then thinking of sewing an ankh either into the shoulders or starting at the new material. Then I may sew an another ankh on the back if i dont think it looks too flashy.

So, does it suck or what?
I have a pic of what I might want it to look like. I spent like 2 mins on this pic so its not the best drawn.In fact it really sucks. XD

Try not to use too many different fabrics, otherwise it'll look like patchwork. You may also want to keep a look out for iron-on thingies to make decoration easier.

Mm, looks interesting, but I hope your not going to have too high of a collar. I have a shirt with a collar that touches my chin (think dictator or mao styled collar) and it irritates my neck unless I fold it down. You might not have that problem with your choice of fabrics, but it's just something to think about.

So should I try one fabric instead of two?
