Six Feet Under

Ok I love this show so much. It's so great. Anyone seen it? It's about a weird family who lives in and owns a funeral home. The mother cheated on her husband who just dies by getting hit by a bus while driving a hurse. The one son is gay and is with a black cop. The other son is in a relationship with Brenda and they are both psycho. The daughter does drugs and is an artist. It's so cool I LOVE it!

Six Feet Under is my favourite TV show of all time. Even since it ended I still get those moments when I remember how close I felt to the characters and how well I got to know them, and it's like reminiscing about old friends.

The acting was great, the cinematography beautiful, and the whole setup of the show was just plain awesome.

I miss it dearly.

Sweet, a fellow SFU fan. They still show it here, re-runs of course, but I have to watch it. They play about...4 hours of it every Monday night. Plus I have a few downloaded. How can anyone NOT like this show? But ya know what pissed me off royally? When Nate died. OOh that pissed me off, he was one of my favorite characters.

It was one of the only times I cried during a television show, when Nate died. But I felt his passing was sort of... necessary. After all, he'd spent every season of the show fearing death.

I love how they ended the series with all their deaths though. It was so beautifully done, and really tied things up well.

I'm excited to see the new HBO series series True Blood (based on the Southern Vampire Chronicles books), which is being directed by the same guy who did Six Feet Under.

I missed this series completely during it's original airing. I figured it to be crap. However, I was in a depertment store a few months back and saw the entire first season (VHS) on sale for $10. Out of curiosity, I picked it up.

I watched part of the first episode, and didn't care for it at all. Seemed like something that just wasn't going to hold my interest. Several days later I stuck the first episode back in, and oddly enough i've been hooked ever since. Excellent, excellent series.

I personally love it. Very grim, a macbare soap opera. Though my uncle, who is a mortician, dislikes it. Mainly because he feels it gives a stereotypical depiction of an occupation. But of course, if this were a show about minorities, people would listen, but since this is a show about death and the macabre, and seeing apparently "normal" people don't focus on that...this won't attract much negative attention...but that's life :/

THAT was the only episode that I cried for. It made me think about life, I was so....impacted by that one. I have that one downloaded on my computer. It was amazing. GOD I cant explain how much I love this show! It's the perfect show for me...

I guess it was time for Nate to die....it just wasnt the same without him on it. He seemed like the only half sane one compared to the others. Lol.
