Hi

Hi, my name's Amy and (obviously) I'm new.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm a writer (I know, I know, v. cliched, but what's a girl to do?)

2. Where are you from?
Hampshire, in England.

3. Who is your favorite author?
Do I have to pick one?!
Probably... *thinks hard* ... M. Alice LeGrow. Do Manga authors count? Ah, hell, who cares?

4. What are your favorite films?
The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Phantom of the Opera and - bizarrely - Silent Hill.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Don't know. Probably something weird like Until The End Of The World by Apoptygma Berserk

6. At your funeral?
Moonchild by Fields of the Nephilim and Arabian Knights by Siouxie and the Banshees. No particular reason, I just happen to like the songs XD

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Is this where I'm supposed to make some mall-goth-esque cheesy 'vampires will drink every drop of blood from my veins' comment?
In my sleep, I guess. Jeez, I'm boring.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Black satin.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Black lace-trimmed skirt, The Cure t-shirt (I'm living in it at the moment, it's getting smelly), New Rocks and trenchcoat.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Ignorance is bliss

11. What's your favorite band?
Bauhaus.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Home-educated since I was fourteen. Public school before then.

13. Why did you join?
Intelligent conversation. People with good taste in music.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female.

Hello world!

I'm glad you like Phantom. It's one of my favorite musicals of all time. When Broadway was touring Phantom I saw it in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. Rock on. Welcome.

Oh honey, that was like 4 years ago! I don't remember, honestly. It was our senior choir trip and it just blew my mind...but I'd have to go to my parents' house and find the playbill burried in my old room to be able to tell you who played the Phantom.

I like you, because there cannot be a Phantom of the Opera lover that can suck. Welcome!

Why "- bizarrely - Silent Hill"? Just curious.

They are going to make a Silent Hill 2. Yeah!

Hello and welcome newbie of quality! *hugs you*

Usually when I'm reading these threads they scare me and make me want to sleep for a week in hopes all of the mall goths will disappear...

And a writer ^_^ What do you write?

Silent Hill, as in the movie? It sucked. they messed up the order of things and twisted the characters. If you're gonna do something do it right!

How do you earn money for poetry? Because I'm a poet myself and I am trying to find out how to get published x_x I've written like almost 100 poems.

Wow. I like you already. Finally, someone with good tastes! I mean, Fields of the Nephilim and Phantom of the Opera. Not only that, but you're a writer.

Is it a little straightforward for me to say.. I love you?

Jarl: I reccommend poetry competitions. That's how I got started. Other than that... er... luck?
That's not really very helpful, is it?
