I'm going to stop taking my medication and was wondering if I could get any advice on how to do this. that's all.

what meds are you on? Most likely you should talk to a doctor about lowering your dosage and see how that goes as just dropping the meds can do some really nasty things to your mind and body

Im taking Abilify right now but I think it's making me kind of less able to concentrate and plus I dont know if I need it or not.

Yeah you should probably talk to your doctor about that and if you think that your doc is just trying to push pills (versus actually thinking that you really do need them and working with you to try and find the absolute best thing for you) then go to someone else for a second opinion. I wish that I could be of more help but that is a disorder about which I really only know very basic info

Anyway, Mindless, I'd suggest NOT going off your medication unless your doctor says you should. You're on meds for a reason.

Mindless, talk to your doc. Don't drop it cold turkey cause yeah, it can jack you up bad.

your doctor is why i hate people
afaik antipsychotics don't produce any withdrawal symptoms (unlike SSRIs which can produce some of the worst) when you quit them cold turkey, but definitely take your medication unless your doctor tells you it's okay to stop
