| Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

A question to drummers
Does anyone have advice how I could build up speed in my double kicks/suggestions on good techniques?

My boyfriend is a drummer, and he says since it's building up muscle, just practice practice practice.

Pretty much just preference, how you feel comfortable sitting. I like to lean back when I'm drumming, with my legs tucked just underneath me. I find I can get a pretty good speed going like that. And I drink a lot of caffeine based beverages leading up to it, so I end up getting the twitches. My leg goes nuts.
